I’ve lived, studied, worked and traveled back and forth to Italy from Sicily to Venice for 40 years and this stay was exceptional. Beautiful and historic property that’s been updated thoughtfully and with tremendous quality. Spacious, clean, great (and whisper quiet) air conditioning, and perfect location next to the Duomo. Breakfast is an extra 5 Euros at Caffè del Duomo. Do it. Absolutely charming! When we return to Modica we won’t bother to look elsewhere. We will stay here again in a heartbeat. Most charming room, extremely authentic and the view is just amazing. The little bar around the corner was so lovely local. Just take the breakfast you won’t regret it. Free parking on the street. Many tips from the owner.
