The location and setting was lovely, very peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was comfortable, if dated, taking into account the price when compared with other properties. The commitment of the host to rescuing and rehoming donkeys and horses was a positive and made the cost worthwhile.
We would have expected shower gel/shower wash in the shower and laundry powder in the laundry. These would be standard provisions for a fully furnished house. The instructions from the host seemed a bit over the top - asking paying guests to sweep floors before leaving (and before the cleaner arrived!) seemed a bit over the top.

Wonderful farm stay surrounded by animals. Great location for access to the sights and attractions in Flinders Chase park. Ten minutes to beautiful Vivonne Bay. Great house for a group. Very peaceful atmosphere. Great hospitality from the owners.
