Beach Fun 11 Broadbeach Drive

Location is great and the fenced yard is ideal for kids and dogs. The deck is lovely and gets the afternoon sun and the garden and yard offer lots for kids to explore. Good kitchen facilities and generous with dish soap and dish washing detergent and tea towels. We loved the fireplace and it heats the house really well. There is cooling in all the rooms although we didn’t use it. The shower is great, lots of pressure. Good size fridge and freezer and Weber bbq. Nice outlook from the deck and lounge.

There are a few things that could use some love like missing light bulbs, no battery in the kitchen clock, non working night light, dodgy toaster, dusty bathroom fans and vents. The fuse box is rusted shut so we couldn’t use the solar boost when hot water ran out. Most annoying was the door to the main bedroom didn’t close so we had to tiptoe around so as not to wake the baby. Needs sanding to close properly. Still, we enjoyed the house very much. These were mostly minor things but fixing them would enhance the stay.

This is a great house for a family or two visiting the area. Fairly modern without being too posh so felt really homely. Only a short walk down to the beach down a cut through, which our son managed easily. The garden was fully enclosed which was a big plus for us as we really didn’t need to worry about our son getting out, and he had a ball playing in the large garden with cubby. There’s plenty of electrical appliances including a coffee machine that looks like it uses nespresso type pods, but we had taken our own just in case. You just need a hairdryer. All in all we had a great stay and would definitely come again if visiting the area :-)

Not dislikes but just would have been good if the fridge had been a bit bigger. Just be aware that if you have 2 families staying you’d probably want to make sure you didn’t over buy fresh food before arrival. Outdoor table was pretty dusty but as it was cooler in the evening we just sat inside anyway. Mattresses pretty firm which suited me but not my husband. Depends on your preference but good to know I think. Nothing would make us not want to stay here again though!
