Area: The house is a five minute walk to the centre of the local fishing village Ares. In Ares there are banks, a medical centre, pharmacy, supermarkets, opticians, marina with nautical club (sailing classes for children are available), maritime walk, childrens play area next to the beach, bars, cafes, restaurants. In Ares all the usual festivities are celebrated throughout the year such as the well known ‘Floral Carpets’ or the procession of boats on St Carmens day, the patron saint of sailors.
