An old farmhouse dating from 1850. Originally, it consisted of two separate dwellings: one for the owners and the other for the “caseiros,” tenants who paid rent with a portion of the harvest.

Located in the peaceful village of Raíces, 7 km from Santiago de Compostela and 250 meters from the Portuguese Way of St. James, it offers convenient access for pilgrims on the route and for those seeking a central hub from which to explore Galicia.
Taking a day trip to the Rías Baixas, Finisterre, the Costa de la Muerte, Noia, or Sanxenxo is a breeze.
We have gardens surrounding the entire house with lovely chill-out areas, fire pits, barbecue areas, and a saltwater-filtered pool, so you won’t experience eye irritation from chlorine while enjoying your stay.
In addition, if desired, we offer our restaurant, which serves meals made primarily from Galician and locally sourced ingredients, following the philosophy of “happy animals” (animals raised in freedom or with guaranteed minimum standards of quality of life and nutrition), with subtle touches of international cuisine.

Javier was really helpful and prompt at dealing with any minor issues.It was a lovely spacious characterful property.It was not obvious when we booked that fe pool was not in use. It might be worth noting this explicitly during the booking process.

What a great place for a family meet up,the house is perfect and the pool kept the children and teens occupied all day long. We had a wonderful week, thank you Javier for your assistance.
