Hotel Casas da Fortaleza

Our experience here was fantastic. The two-bedroom villa with outdoor porch was beautiful and clean, with solid AC for the main room and each bedroom. Enjoyed breakfast outside, with a great view of the countryside. Fresh bread and croissants, and we prepared fried eggs and fresh-squeezed OJ (the place came with an electric juicer and large supply of refrigerated oranges). Mr. Pedro was very welcoming and helpful, and also invited us to join a village party with delicious "pintxos" (celebrating the awesome total solar eclipse!). If you are looking for a peaceful place outside of Lugo (about 15-20m drive to the walled center), you may want to consider staying here.

We missed the entrance, maybe one more sign on the corner leading to the parking.

The breakfast was great. Fresh bread and criosants delivered to our door. The fridge had milk and fresh oranges in it as well as butter and jam. We were able to have freshly squeezed orange juice and toast as well. A perfect start to the day.

Las atenciones que tuvieron con nosotros. La nevera con naranjas, agua y leche. La cafetera, el exprimidor... Y la bolleria recién hecha para el desayuno. Un lujazo. La estsncia fue increible, una lástima no poder quedarnos más días.

Exceptional, the rooms were all spotless. The kitchen was fitted with everything we needed. The host was great and we would not hesitate to book again!

I can't find fault. Maybe in summer a pool in the garden would be really cool! You know, a portable one. it would be an added bonus maybe.
