Beautiful Bavarian getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Karg property. We were greeted warmly by the friendly and helpful hostess, Cornelia. She was attentive to our needs and asked if we needed anything not already provided. The property has beautiful gardens and invites you to unwind listening to the water fountain. Inside you are met with authentic Bavarian architecture that is modern enough for everyday needs. The kitchen is well equipped, and even had some local food in the fridge for us to try. Everything here was lovely, but the cleanliness was unbelievable. SO clean. It looked like it had never been used before. Over all we felt very comfortable here, and would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

Wonderful Bavaria getaway!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Ostin at the Karg family's apartment. I recommend it without hesitation. The house is beautifully constructed and the apartment is spacious and modern, with everything you could possibly need while vacationing or traveling for business. Their property is absolutely lovely with flowers, gardens, and wonderful places to sit. I especially appreciated the location - a 3-minute drive from the lake but very much in the country - just far enough away from the tourists and the hustle and bustle. There are the most wonderful hiking trails right across the street that take you through fields, forests, and farms and offer gorgeous views of Tegernsee from several vistas. Frau Karg and her husband were the most gracious hosts, and I knew I could reach out to them at any time if I needed anything. I wish I could have spent more time there! I look forward to staying with them again.

Nice, quiet & comfortable

Cornelia & Helmut were excellent approachable hosts. They both went out of their way to make our stay great & things easy for us. The kitchen was very nicely set up with high quality appliances & utensils. This was topped off by an easy to use, with minimal instruction, new Whirlpool washing machine. An essential for international travellers trying to travel light & keep all clothes clean. Like much of Bavaria, English (only) speaking guests are not all that common & staying for a couple of weeks seems also a rarity. We missed international news on TV. That said the Netfix App (we are subscibers in the US/Australia so can use anywhere) was downloaded to the smart TV so we had entertainment on demand, helped by Helmut's timely perserverence in getting the internet connection going properly. Good speed, with no buffering or dropouts, generally about 15 Mbps The Tegernsee Lake area is lovely, with rural Ostin quieter than in town, but just minutes away & being close to many restaurants, scenic/historic attractions, the Miesback Market town, Schliersee. Ostin is a very suitable location for day drives, even into the Munich metro. Also this should be a good location for winter skiing acivities!

Es war eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung in einem sehr gepflegten Grünbereich.in der Wohnung hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und es werden auch zwei Fahrräder zur Verfügung gestellt. So kann man sich auch ohne Auto am See gut bewegen. Alles in allem sehr schön

Ein sehr freundlicher Empfang durch das Vermieterehepaar, der gleich vermittelte, dass man sich hier wohlfühlen kann. Die Wohnung ist perfekt eingerichtet, selbst ein eigener Kellerraum war vorhanden. Die Außenanlagen ein Traum mit eigener Sitz- und Essmöglichkeit im Garten. Wir haben vor, nochmals wieder zu kommen.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung auf 2 Etagen in Gmund Ortsteil Ostin. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die bequemen Betten (2 getrennte Betten) sowie das sehr schön angelegte Grundstück. Trotz naher Strasse ist das Objekt ruhig gelegen. Sehr feundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter.

Wir waren schon häufig im Tegernseer Land, aber das erste Mal in der FeWo von Familie Karg. Die Wohnung haben wir im Internet gefunden und waren sofort von den Bildern sehr angetan. Die Wirklichkeit hat Alles noch übertroffen. Durch den freundlichen Empfang von Frau Karg haben wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung ist von hervorragender Qualität hinsichtlich Bausubstanz und Einrichtung. Liebevoll und stilsicher eingerichtet. Insbesondere in der Küche hat es an nichts gefehlt. Dazu kommt extreme Ordnung und Sauberkeit im ganzen Haus. Der Garten mit seinen liebevollen Details hat uns verzaubert. Wir waren sicher nicht zum letzten Mal dort. Das Haus ist mehr als absolut empfehlenswert.

Es war unser erster Urlaub in Bayern und in einer Ferienwohnung und ich muss sagen, es hat unsere Erwartungen extrem übertroffen. Als wir dort ankamen, wurden wir sehr herzlich von der Familie Karg begrüsst und empfangen. Die Wohnung war genauso, wie die Bilder sie uns zeigten, oder besser gesagt, sie war noch schöner. Alles ordentlich und sauber und sehr gemütlich. Wir fühlten uns direkt angekommen und wie zu Hause. Die Familie Karg war immer sehr hilfsbereit und wenn wir etwas brauchten, mussten wir nur klopfen und schon war Frau Karg zur Stelle. Das Haus ist auf einem sehr großen und ruhigen Fleckchen gelegen. Auch ist es sehr zentral gelegen. München oder Starnberg sind in ca. 50 km sehr gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Aber auch der Tegernsee ist wunderschön und man kann in den Orten rundherum sehr schön spazieren gehen. Also alles in allem ein wunderschöner Urlaub und wir werden definitiv wiederkommen. Vielen Dank nochmal liebe Familie Karg für den schönen Aufenthalt in Ihrem Haus.

Gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit sehr netten Vermietern in direkter Nähe zum Tegernsee. Gut zu Fuß oder mit dem Rad zu erreichen. Die Lage ist für Wanderer zu empfehlen. Das Haus liegt etwas versteckt am Ende einer Gasse. Der Garten bietet eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre mit Sitzgelegenheiten vor dem Haus. Die Vermieter helfen gerne weiter bei ortskundigen Fragen. Ein toller Urlaub in einem sehr sauberen und ländlich eingerichteten Ferienhaus mit einem erholsamen und herzlichen Aufenthalt. Gerne wieder und zu empfehlen.
