It was very cold and over priced massively.

It was an experience something you Will never do again. The fondue was lovely but nothing to do after food apart from be very very cold and and a long night ahead. I think for the money £420 there should be some sort of entertainment or warm room to chill out in before you turn freeze to death all night.

It wasn’t that I didn’t like anything I should have read the reviews before booking and then I definitely wouldn’t have parted with so much money for 1 night. It’s a gimmick and a very expensive one. It was so cold and going to bed cold you can’t possibly warm up and then getting up frozen to have cold breakfast didn’t warn you up either. We had a vast amount of layers on and very prepared hand warmers ect and it was impossible to warm up it was -12 degrees. The walk up the mountain in snow shoes is very very steep and some families were struggling with small children with no help from the guide that part I did not like. It was just a lot of money for what it was.

beautiful location.

no cleaning facilities not appropriate for children - long hike up the mountain, late at night (pick up from the base is 7pm). dinner is fondue containing alcohol and no other option, not child friendly. it should be made clear on the listing that this experience may not be suitable for small children. breakfast very basic. not enough information provided to be prepared for the fact that it is freezing cold (yes, it’s a igloo, it’s cold) but there is nowhere to keep things warm, so anything you want to keep warm needs to stay inside the sleeping bag. the experience is definitely “realistic” rather than “luxury”. massively overpriced for the privilege of sleeping in a sleeping bag in the cold - the price should provide some level of convenience, unless you are excited by paying for the experience of sub zero rustic living in the mountains. very pretty views though. would recommend for young couples.
