Host was very rude and aggressive over the phone so decided not to stay.
At 5pm on day of check in the host rang me and very aggressively shouted down the phone at me that I hadn't notified them of my time of arrival.
A day prior the host messaged stating check in was between 2pm - 8pm, and to ring 10 minutes before arrival and that it was important that i give an approximate time of arrival. Unfortunately I missed the last piece!
A follow up message or a well mannered phone call would have solved this. Not a heated phone call while I was at the reception of my friends wedding.

The room was spotless and the shower was good
When we arrived the receptionist/owner told us that there was no breakfast available at this time of year even though it was part of what we paid for on Booking.com. We had to ring the receptionist/owner 10 minutes before we arrived in Tralee, so it seemed to us that the reception was only open when guests arrived, and we did not see it open again during our 2 night stay. There were a lot of comings and goings in the corridor outside our room during the night, and even at 3am , we could hear loud voices and laughing, which continued at least for an hour. The front door onto the street was constantly on the latch, so anyone passing by could access the building. We felt this to be a breach of our security, as anyone could enter and approach our bedroom door. We obviously kept it locked and we checked the corridor for strangers before we opened our bedroom and left for the day. We felt our room could easily have been broken into when we were out. When we were returning to the guest house on one of the evenings, two men ahead of us on the street, tried the front door. Thankfully on that occasion it was locked. We felt our experience was completely unsatisfactory.

Good location; comfortable beds, clean.
The plumbing presents SERIOUS health and safety issues! The water was rusty, actually orange when first turned on. It cleared, but was not drinkable. The shower was extremely uncomfortable as the water pressure was irregular, with water temperatures either very cold or dangerously hot. I actually could not shower as I was afraid of being scalded!

Loved the location. Worked really well for me.
Clean, comfortable, well presented room. Plenty of tea bags- thank you đź’›
The plug in the sink cannot be removed, so water splashes over the sink edge, with alternating water pressure.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Small but perfectly adequate for my stay. I was fortunate enough to be able to park on the street right outside but this isn't guaranteed. Breakfast wasn't offered but that was as expected. Some reviews criticise the guest house but they don't reflect my experience at all. I found it very good.

Was very hot in the front attic room when we were there...had to have the Windows open, difficult to sleep with traffic and noise

Staff were lovely and I liked the location unfortunately they don't have parking and all parking near by is pay and display but there is a big car park down the road across from the Brandon hotel and has long term and short term parking for good prices.
The room was very small with the bathroom very close and only a sliding door between for not much privacy. The light in the bathroom is a sensor light that turns off very quickly after coming on so you have to keep moving around in the bathroom for it to stay on. There was a laundrette next door and the noises were very loud early every morning and there seemed to have been birds nesting in the building because there was birds feeding and being very loud in the mornings. Also the lift does not go from the ground floor to the lower floor for reception you need to go down a few steps which is not a hassle because they are not steep.

The beds were comfy and the room was quiet. Easy to check in and convenient to town. For the price, hard to complain.
The toilet had issues - it took like 10 minutes to refill the basin between flushes. It turned out that it was a plumbing issue not confined to our room though - they were going to have to call a plumber for the whole building so that may not have been a typical issue. Shower water took 5+ minutes to get hot though.

I was in room 43…. The room was perfect for me…if I get this room again in June.. I be over the moon…
The bed was really comfortable… after an ultra running race… a good bed was needed and it was a good bed.
Doors slamming(during the day) and I had ear plugs during the night and I didn’t hear a thing..
I wish breakfast would be served earlier (I had a running race) but I do understand why..

Excellent, central location- everything within walking distance, but somehow was still nice and quiet at night (even with the windows open!)
Clean room, iron / good hairdryer / toiletries provided.
Our bed was very comfy, but the kids complained about the bunks (they were probably being fussy though) so slept on their duvets on floor instead.
Easy / quick check in.
Can’t comment on the breakfast as we didn’t eat it but it smelled very good!
Shower was a bit temperamental- had to run the hot tap at the sink before the hot water came though in the shower but we had been warned about this at check in so knew what to do and it wasn’t really a problem!

It was close to stores and shops in Tralee, but Tralee was a little more city like than we thought.
It was a super small place but the bed was comfy.
