Location, location, location! We loved staying at La Corona del Aurelio! It is located way up a windy, narrow road in Somiedo Natural Parque. We did two different hikes right out our door. There were cattle walking by our window and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The hostess, Guillermina. was very friendly and helpful with hiking suggestions. She prepared us a delicious breakfast each morning with fresh eggs, toast, cheeses, meats, yogurt, cakes, fresh fruit including strawberries from her garden, juice and coffee. She had a stocked refrigerator and cupboard with beverages and food items to purchase on the honor system, which we did not need, but others may appreciate. We were also welcome to use the kitchen. We found an open restaurant in the nearby village for a delicious dinner. We highly recommend La Corona del Aurelio!

La ubicación espectacular. Las instalaciones muy buenas. Independencia para entrar / salir cuando se quiera. Un pequeño punto de venta de bebidas y cosas para comer que salvan de un apuro. Guillermina que es encantadora, está pendiente de todo lo que necesites y te resuelve cualquier cosa

The location was good for walking & access to the valley

There was little or no options for eating in the evening & so remote that driving to the other village was not possible If it weren’t for the campsite offering pizza we would have had to self cater
