If you're looking to truly unwind, La Congosta is the perfect retreat in the heart of the Asturian mountains.
Located in Villa de Sub, a small hamlet in Teverga at an altitude of over 1,000 meters, it lies within the Las Ubiñas-La Mesa Natural Park, a Biosphere Reserve, and is very close to the Senda del Oso trail.
La Congosta is a restored old stone stable that has been transformed into a cozy rural vacation rental. It has 56 m² spread over two floors and can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child.
On the first floor, you’ll find a warm and comfortable living room-kitchen with a wood-burning stove, a 40" TV, and a fully equipped kitchen featuring a ceramic-glass cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, coffee maker, toaster, and a complete set of kitchenware.
Upstairs is the master bedroom with a 150-cm bed, a private jacuzzi for leisurely relaxation, a small sleeper chair ideal for a child, and a full bathroom with a shower.
Outside, you can enjoy a private porch with a wooden table and benches. In addition, there are two shared barbecue areas with Montegrande: one next to the houses and another about 50 meters away, with spectacular mountain views.
Just a few meters away, you’ll also find a small recreational area with swings, a ping-pong table, tables, benches, and a barbecue, perfect for enjoying the outdoors with your family.
The setting is perfect for relaxing, breathing fresh air, and enjoying hiking trails, cycling along the Senda del Oso, horseback riding, caves, scenic overlooks, and charming villages.
Nearby, you can visit places like Cueva Huerta, the Prehistory Park, the Desfiladero de las Xanas, the Marabio Pass, the San Lorenzo Pass, the Montegrande Beech Forest, and the Xiblu Waterfall.
