Coming to the doolr it was a shock it was LOCKED , that the staff was gone , and a potential key that might be in a coded security safe at the door. I consider this a FAILURE OF BOOKING .COM because such sign-in procedure should be given an alert AT THE INSTANT OF ONLINE BOOKING and a notice that contacting the hotel is IMPERRATIVE, in order to learn the code ft key access.. Otherwise I never phone the hotel, assuming that a clerk will always be on duty . I was saved by a random passer-by who phoned the hotel for me on the street to identify me and get the key-access code .

Great Value (we had the apartment for 5 friends on a Plzen weekend). Excellent for our purposes and the breakfast was a bonus! We were able to use the lockbox for keys in case we returned at different times.

Some aging fittings but for the money we paid no real complaints.

Great price-to-amenities ratio. Parking is easy and free on the street outside of the hotel. The room was basic, but good enough for us, with the right temperature and comfortable beds. We were happy with it. The wifi was working without problems. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is about 15 min walk for the central square.

Altough we have informed the staff about our arrival time (17:00), when we arrived, tired after a long roadtrip, the door was locked and nobody was at the hotel. We knocked and knocked but there was no answer. A local couple, who happened to pass by, told us that this is happening all the time and that we have to call them!!! I sent them a message in booking.com, and they called them, and after a while, the owners called me and gave me instructions to get inside the hotel and the room. I found the experience very frustrated. What if the couple didn't happen to pass by? I recommend that the hotel owners send entering instructions by a message in booking.com, as several other hotels do, if they won't be at the hotel at the arrival time. If this is fixed, I would recommend the hotel.

For 45 euros it was fine. This is a basic hotel with age-worn rooms. But basically clean and ok. There was a fridge in my room and a microwave in the hall. Useful if you are traveling on a budget. The included breakfast was good - given the price.

The reception was closed when I arrived around 5pm. I had to phone the number on the door. I did this and was given instructions. It was ok, but it would have been better if I'd known not to expect anyone to be there. The info could have been done by email or messaging. If for example my phone had not been working it would have been rather stressful. The breakfast room is not really big enough. One morning some people were having to wait to get seats.
