The pool area was very nice, breakfast was good and the room size was good. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially the reception desk.

The bathroom unit was a little tired and water damaged.

Well maintained, however room furnishings in need of a refresh. Rooms look good but all the furniture is peeling (MDF board covered in melamine). Well cleaned however all the fittings are past their use by date. Reception were very friendly but extremely slow to check people in. Love that given the location (no nearby cafes) breakfast is included but it is really poor quality (powdered scrambled egg, powdered milk in the coffee machines, juice concentrate from a juice machine.)

I really like the hotel and have visited friends staying here many times. Decided to try it myself this visit to Sitges. The food was terrible. Really awful. Breakfast was provided but the quality meant it was not appreciated and we ate out. The coffee is from a machine that doesn't even use real milk (powdered milk instead). Scrambled eggs were truly awful - tasked like reconstituted egg. Juice was also reconstituted. This is really really bad for a hotel that claims to be 4 star. Online reviews for many years say the breakfast is terrible but given the location of the hotel there are not many options and guests make do, and you can make do, but as a guest it really needs to be improved as it lets the rest of the hotel experience down. Overall the hotel is great, but the food is awful. We had a sandwich by the pool also. It was very dry and did not reflect the menu. We pointed this out and it was remade but again it was delivered cold and without everything stated on the menu. Our drinks were delivered 15 minutes apart and one with ice and one without. This is a food and beverage management issue. Also did not like the extremely poor AC. We upgraded rooms from the one first offered and so we know the AC in our second room was not up to scratch. We were advised that maintenance could look at it however it was acknowledged that the AC was just adequate if the bathroom door was kept closed (to avoid cool air escaping in the bathroom ventilation system), and you never opened the balcony door and allowed the room to heat up, plus left a card in the power slot so the AC never switched off (as cooling the room from warm took hours). What needs to be fixed: 1. food throughout the hotel, especially breakfast 2. AC 3. room furnishings dated and peeling 4. reception check in and out speed. (Staff are extremely friendly, chatty and helpful, however take 20 minutes to check each guest in and three other guests are waiting up to an hour to check in!)

Not enough sunbeds for the guests, could not use the pool the whole duration of the stay. Not enough snack foods too.
