We had a wonderful stay last week. The cabin was great, we appreciated some of the updates like new flooring, etc. The lake was clean, we swam every day. It was very relaxing, may try to do it again next year.

We have stayed here for multiple years! Gwen the host is amazing! The camp has beautiful views and on water! The large front porch is amazing for sunsets on the lake! Huge yard provides privacy and very tranquil!

Our recent stay at this vacation rental was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location was absolutely fantastic. The views were breathtaking, and being so close to the beach made our days incredibly enjoyable. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to easily prepare meals, which was a nice bonus.
However, the cleanliness of the rental left much to be desired. The place had a very musty odor that was hard to ignore. It made the air feel heavy and left us stuffed up and sneezing constantly which unfortunately impacted our sleep. We found ourselves needing to keep all the windows open just to make the space bearable. Needs to be vacuumed and dusted, all fans are thick with dust (we cleaned some), mold in shower and some bedroom walls. All closets are completely full so you cannot use them and the blankets did not appear to have been recently washed.
In summary, while the location and amenities were great, the lack of cleanliness and the unpleasant odor significantly detracted from our overall experience. If these issues were addressed, this rental would be a perfect beach getaway.
