About this farm stay rental
Lakefront home, ancestral farmhouse 1880, with many updates but without harming original cachet on woodwork elements. Bright and airy rooms with 9 feet ceilings, archway, walk-in pantry, some hardwood flooring. Lake views from almost every room. 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom downstairs all with queen beds , full bathrooms on each floors, approximately 1,900 square feet of living space. Central heat, 2 fireplace stoves, high speed internet WiFi. Large bright kitchen with island. Newer sunroom with walls of windows, mainly used as a family room. Laundry area, screened porch towards the lake. Storage barn for your toys. 1.5 acres of private and intimate land secluded from neighbors, with gorgeous perennial beds and mature trees. 235 feet of westerly private pebble beach with sandy lake bottom. 60 feet of private dock, including mooring buoy for your boat, swimming platform, pedal boat, row boat, kayaks and canoe. A public boat launch is located within 2500 ft. Municipal golf course, Alburgh Dunes Park, St Anne's Shrine and its beach, all 10 minutes away, and other attractions to discover nearby. Welcome to the Champlain Islands.

We enjoyed the charm and uniqueness of this older farm house. Our 3 teens really enjoyed the paddle boat and fishing. We found Devyn's Ceemee Stand and enjoyed their famous Vermont Maple Creemee (highly recommend). Marc and Sophia were fantastic hosts and the house had everything that we needed. We spent time relaxing on the small dock & rocky beach across the street and swinging on the wooden glider by the house. Lots to do on days out too as it was a terrific location. All in all it was excellent!

Beautiful location, great house and awesome hosts. This was our second stay at this house on a week long fishing trip. Plenty of room in the house for 4 of us and plenty of room outside to enjoy yourself. Right on the water so you can fish or swim without having to go anywhere.

We had a great week at this place. The quaint farmhouse and accommodations were comfortable and we found everything to be as described. Although the house sits on a busy road, it is very private. The sunsets were amazing!
