Clean, comfortable, friendly and lovely swimming pool

Very clean and comfortable. Wonderful view from the balcony with a Fantastic, clean and refreshing swimming pool, it even has a deep end - I wish I had had more time to use it. Host is extremely kind and helpful, even fulfilled my request for some windex to clean my interior car windscreen. The car park was great too. Beaches and restaurants nearby, bakery a 10 min drive, and beautiful Baby Falassarna beach a 10 min drive. I did a day trip from here to Elafonissi beach and also a day trip to Balos beach. I was truly sad to leave this place, I only stayed 3 nights.

One of our all time favourite stays and couldn’t speak any higher of this hotel, thanks for having us!

A serene location surrounded by stunning landscapes, beaches and tavernas. Our hostess Eleftheria couldn’t have made us feel more welcome, taking time out of her day to assist with travelling around the local area and giving great recommendations for food and beach spots. The cleanliness of the property was exceptional and a daily cleaning lady would ensure we’d come back to a spotless room when we returned. The swimming pool was right on our doorstep which was also a nice touch. We plan on returning to this property indefinitely and really can’t wait for our next visit!

Totally worth it

All rooms and bathrooms are fully renovated and are really modern. The pictures published in booking are outdated. The host is very kind and offers a great service, she gave us good recommendations. There are two different companies offering daily trips in boat to Balos from the harbor that is 5 minutes away from the hotel. The restaurants around offer delicious food and a good atmosphere.

Great stay by the beach

Fantastic accommodation and Eleftheria was a wonderful host with great recommendations for the local area. The hotel is close to the beach, local shop (which was excellent) and walking distance to a taverna. Other tavernas are only a short drive but well worth it for the views.

The only thing we could potentially pick up on was the shower not draining quickly, but mentioned to Eleftheria and they were sending someone to fix it

It was a relaxing trip, far from the noise of our daily life.

Ms. Elefteria welcomed us at the door and had a small talk about how we feel, where we are coming from etc. After learning our names, she addressed us with name. Even the next morning, she said " Good morning Xx". This showed how she cares people around her. We loved the room, the quietness around, the hotel's distance to Falassarna.. We will make sure to return there soon.

Lovely hotel close to beautiful beaches

The hotel has been completely renovated, so you’ll likely be surprised by how much more modern it looks compared to the pictures. The pool is lovely, and the hotel overall is charming! Ela, our host, was very friendly and attentive, she ensured everything was perfect and that we felt comfortable. We were very happy with our stay at Petritos. The hotel is very close to stunning beaches with turquoise water that reminded me of the Caribbean. There are small local greenhouses nearby, but this shouldn’t detract from your experience; it’s important to remember that people need livelihoods beyond tourism, and local food has to come from somewhere!

Beautiful, peaceful surroundings and lovely room with superb shower! Very welcoming owner and such a short drive to one of the best beaches in Crete! We didn't have breakfast but it looked great.

Superb stay! Excellent accommodation where we were made to feel at home.

Eli is the most warm, welcoming and thoughtful host who went out of her way to take care of us and all her guests. We went to both restaurants recommended by Eli and both great although ‘Alikia’ won our hearts. Our room was lovely - modern and sparkling clean. We had a private balcony with a view of the most beautiful pool. Falassarna is a great location - close to a beautiful beach and boat tours.

The location was lovely and tranquil. It was kept perfectly and Eleftheria was so welcoming and friendly. The rooms were comfy and quiet and had all you needed for making your own breakfast and snacks. The pool area was beautiful and was super well-kept. There is an excellent restaurant in walking distance and loads of wonderful attractions within a reasonable drive. All in all, a delightful place to spent a relaxing week in the sun.

A wonderful place with a wonderful host

The place is really nice and the host wonderful. The location of the property is perfect if you want to visit Balos and Elafonissi. The village has a lot of nice tavernas and the Falassarna beach can be easily reached from Petritos. We were really impressed with the comfort of the room and beds, the beautiful pool area and the delicious breakfast. The value for money is unbelievable and the host really sweet and welcoming. We surely be back soon. :)

Excellent cozy hotel on a windy coast

very modern and clean interior, very comfortable beds, attention to detail, excellent staff, very nice pool. this area of Crete is great for windsurfing and all kinds of wind sports (it is the windiest coast), the sea will be wavy accordingly. car is needed to get around although there are a few tavernas in walking distance. elafonissi, balls and chains are all about one hour away by car.
