About this house rental
In the heart of the Cyclades lies the mountainous island of Syros. This vacation home is located in the southeastern part of the island on the beach of Ampela. It is spread over two levels, connected only by an external staircase. On each floor there are two kitchens or kitchenettes and two bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms are studio style and open to the kitchen. The beach is practically on the doorstep. Or you can swim in the house's own pool, which is surrounded by a spacious sun terrace slightly below the house. From the pool area as well as from the top of the house, a boundless view over the sky-blue Aegean Sea awaits you. The nearest restaurant is just 50 meters away and is open from May to September. For diversion, the port city of Ermoupolis, 15 km away, where especially the elegant, classicist town hall is worth seeing and a casino, cinemas and various restaurants can be visited. Favoured by its central location, Syros is ideally suited for day trips to the neighboring islands of Mykonos, Dilos or Tinos. Arrival preferably on Fridays and Saturdays. We are happy to provide information about ferry connections to Syros.

Very nice property, we were 3 families, all kids enjoyed the pool and the property also has private access to the sea! Small mini market and a couple of restaurants within a 10 min walk, at megas gialos. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved the house and the location. We were two families so we had one family upstairs and another downstairs. There are three proper bedrooms, the rest of the beds are in the living room or kitchen areas so ok if your children are small but adult teenagers found a bit invasive, but it didn’t ruin the holiday. The team in the island were responsive and excellent, thank you Marina! The pool was maintained regularly. The house is located near a taverna that serves delicious food and the staff were so kind and friendly. You can access sea from the house. We didn’t hire a car but used local taxis €16-23 to Ermoupoli depending on if pre booked or not. We walked a few times to Poseidonia where there are nice beaches and restaurants too. We also took bus to Galissas a large sandy beach 30 mins by bus. You can walk a long the coast to Mega Gailos which is 10 mins and has a mini market, beach and a bar. All in all this is a great house in a great location and we will be back! Thanks all for an amazing 2 weeks.
