Salad Hut

Salad Hut is a beautiful, small boutique-style hotel that offers an exceptional experience. The property is very well maintained, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with attention to detail everywhere. The rooms are comfortable and spotless, and the restaurant is probably the best on Salad Beach, with excellent Thai and Western food. What really makes Salad Hut special is the wonderful team. Everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely caring, while still being very professional and attentive. It’s a great example of how a hotel doesn’t have to be luxurious or expensive to provide exceptional value and hospitality. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back.

We stayed in Villa A2, which is located directly next to an area that is currently under construction. Unfortunately, this meant that sitting on the villa’s terrace was not very pleasant, as there was frequent construction noise and banging throughout the day. When you are on vacation and want to sit outside and enjoy some peace and quiet, this kind of noise is quite disruptive and takes away from the relaxing atmosphere. The construction noise definitely affected our overall experience and was a significant drawback of staying in Villa A2.

We spent about a week on Salad Beach and stayed at several different hotels before arriving at Salad Hut. There is absolutely no doubt that Salad Hut is several levels above the other hotels on the beach, and in my opinion, one of the best hotels in Koh Phangan. It is a small, beautiful boutique-style hotel that is extremely well maintained, carefully designed, and you can see the attention to detail everywhere. The rooms are very well kept, everything is spotless and smells fresh, and the bathroom and shower are excellent — even the soaps and amenities feel thoughtfully chosen. The entire property is so beautiful and inviting that you simply don’t want to leave. The hotel’s restaurant is, without a doubt, the best restaurant on Salad Beach. Everything we tried was delicious, with a great variety of choices. The Thai food was excellent, but the Western dishes were equally impressive. And then there is the team and the service, which are truly something special. They are some of the kindest people we have encountered during our trip. They are always smiling, genuinely care about their guests, and take a real interest in both adults and children. We noticed how naturally they interacted with the younger children, playing with them and showing genuine interest in them. It was clear that they genuinely care about their guests and want everyone to feel welcome. At the same time, they remained extremely professional and attentive. Salad Hut is a great example of how a hotel doesn’t have to be luxurious or expensive to provide exceptional value and an outstanding experience for its guests. What matters is the attention to detail, the quality of the experience, the food, and above all, the people who genuinely care about their guests. This is exactly what makes Salad Hut so special. Bella struttura, con una splendida piscina a pochi metri dalla spiaggia, camere discretamente spaziose e comode. Personale attento e premuroso.

L'unico problema è che per via della bassa marea a giugno la mattina il mare di fronte al resort è impraticabile, perché si ritira talmente tanto da prosciugarsi per alcune decine di metri. Nel pomeriggio, a partire dalle 16, invece tornava al suo livello abituale. Probabilmente è solo un problema stagionale, ma questo non era scritto da nessuna parte, ed era in contrasto con quanto si vedeva dalle foto.

Location right on the beach and all the staff so friendly & helpful . Best breakfasts I’ve had in Thailand , all prices very reasonable on the menu. Restaurant food delicious, beware of large portions, we over ordered.

One very small point, the bed was very hard for me. This is an individual point as I have a hip injury, and when I mentioned it the hotel put a softer topper immediately.
