Lovely property with a beautiful big room with a balcony in a quiet neighbourhood right on the river. Short walk to the centre and beach with lovely friendly hosts!

We had a lovely stay at Riverwood Villa. The villa is located next to the Polwatte River. We booked a room with river view and it was very peaceful and relaxing. It is also in close proximity to all the tourist attractions Weligama has to offer, which makes it a great place to stay. The room was spacious and included a separate pantry area with a sink. It also had AC, a fan, and hot water in the bathroom. The place has a Starlink internet connection, so it’s perfect for anyone who works while traveling or is looking for a longer stay. The facility also has a separate common kitchen with a fridge, so you can prepare your own meals there. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, considering the room prices, it’s a great place to stay when visiting Weligama.

It would be even better if the bed and pillow covers were white instead of red. Everything else was just fine.

Personal muy amable. Muy buena localización cercana a restaurantes y playa. Precio muy económico.

La cocina requiere una limpieza y orden. Si no te despierta el tren de las 6 AM, seguro lo hacen los rezos musulmanes de las 04:30 Am, o el ruido del aire acondicionado. Recomiendo tapones para los oídos.
