About this chalet rental

Tux Diamant is an enormous apartment opposite the main ski lift and next to the tourism office and cultural centre. It is spread over 3 floors with 5 luxury bedrooms. The basement has sports equipment storage room for ski’s/boots/bikes. On the first floor the sumptuous king-size master bedroom shares a main bathroom with another king-size bedroom. This spectacular bathroom has a sunken corner bath and separate double shower with double wash-basins. 2 further bedrooms are en-suite with showers. All bedrooms have hypo-allergenic bedding, substantial storage and balcony access. On the top floor, with additional cloakroom and bunk room,the open plan high vaulted wooden ceiling living space is perfect for entertaining. It has WiFi, 50” HDTV, DVD player, Wii, and integrated sound system for CD/ipod/USB. Fully equipped designer kitchen, dining and living areas focus around the contemporary wood burning fire. This breath-taking space opens out onto the south-west facing balcony.

This was an absolutely amazing accommodation, the photos didn’t do it justice! Beyond lovely clean rooms, Tim welcomed us with a wine and cheese from the region, and there were also cupboards full of board games as well as a Wii - which the family enjoyed playing during our nights there! Tim made sure to share a lot of knowledge with us about the region - his hospitality was unmatched. He sat with us and walked us through the map of the ski areas, as well as advised us on restaurants to try as well as bus routes. Thank you very much Tim for the wonderful stay - we’ll most certainly be back next time we’ll be in Hintertux!

Can’t say enough about this property. The location was beautiful. It’s about 10 min away from Hintertux which has year-round skiing. Skiing in late May was about equivalent of spring skiing in Colorado. Not perfect conditions but still very fun and no lines!!! The Tux area is just gorgeous. So clean, green, tons of hiking trails. The tennis court behind the property didn’t have their net up but we played up at the courts in Hintertux no problem. There’s a SPAR grocery store within walking distance (closed on Sundays) and the beautiful kitchen is fully equipped to cook. All the rooms were very comfortable, the house was clean, and a nice balcony on both floors to sit outside. There’s a couple of nice restaurants within walking distance (we liked Swings) or many more within a short drive. The host, Tim, was awesome to work with. Great communication, easy to check in. We would definitely come back.

We were 5 couples who rented this great house for one week and we really enjoyed it. It is located directly next to "Eggalm Bahn" and a Busstop to Hintertux Gletscher. The house provides everything what you need incl. a ski room as well as it is accurately shown by the pictures. Tim was a super friendly host and supported us on all questions which came up. We definitely recommend it ;-)

This property is absolutely stunning!! Everything has been styled with no expense spared & the rooms, decor & facilities all exude quality. We spent 2 weeks here over Christmas & New Year and didn't want to come home!! Situated in the heart of beautiful Lanersbach we enjoyed some fantastic skiing, mountain walking, ice skating and Apres Ski!! Our hosts Tim & Sally were wonderful - nothing was too much trouble and they were extremely knowledgeable about the ski runs, restaurants, local amenities and went above and beyond every time we needed help. We will definitely be returning!!

We, the GB Telemark Ski Team and invited athletes, travelled to Hintertux for the awesome Autumn ski training conditions. We stayed in Tim and Sally's luxury chalet and lived in comfort and luxury. The beds are so comfortable, the chalet is clean and beautifully decorated and the sauna was superb! I would highly recommend to all.

This is the third time our group of friends have stayed at the Tux Diamant and once again we had an absolutely amazing stay. It has been a wonderful respite from the hectic pace of London and we couldn't recommend it more highly. The chalet itself is finished to an extremely high standard and is a really comfortable, luxurious and relaxing place to unwind after a day on the slopes. With the lift over the road from the chalet it is perfectly situated for catching the first lift up for perfect piste conditions. On top of all this, the local ski area has some of the best Apres spots we've been too! Tim and Sally were excellent hosts and we are really looking forward to coming back again.

We stayed at Chalet Tux Diamant over New Year 15/16 and enjoyed every moment. Despite the snow conditions not being what they might usually be at this time of year, we had a fab week in Lanersbach. The chalet is absolutely gorgeous, spacious, well appointed and all 5 adults and 2 kids felt they had plenty of space for themselves and the bedrooms are all great and thoughtfully laid out. The location of the chalet is right in the middle of town, slap bang opposite the ski lift which is great. There is an ice rink a stones throw away behind the chalet where the kids begged to go every night and a park a few metres away for the odd necessary moment of running off energy! Tim and Sally looked after us very well and know the area so well that you feel like you know exactly what you're doing and where you should be doing it straight away. Would definitely return. Tim and Sally were the best hosts! They knew so much about the area and the best times and places to ski. They were also very flexible and accommodating for a our very large group of people. Location was great with the ski lift literally across the street as well as the bus stop to all the other lifts and to Mayrhofen. The chalet itself was to die for with a kitchen from my dreams. It had every gadget I could have wished for when preparing yummy snacks and meals for the group. And even with filling the chalet to capacity we never felt crowded or cramped. This is defiantly the place to stay in Tux! -Emily and James

Tim and Sally were excellent and flexible hosts. We were a large international party and to a person everyone was very happy with the property, location, facilities and support from the owners. The sauna and welcome schnapps were the icing on the cake. The main living area was a wonderful and bright space to unwind after a hard day on the glacier. I would thoroughly recommend a stay in Tux Diamant and would love to go back!

Wir haben eine Woche Familienurlaub (7 Personen) im Ferienhaus Tux Diamant verbracht und hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt. Das Haus war groß, modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Mit insgesamt 3 Badezimmern gab es keine Engpässe beim Duschen. Der Ess- und Wohnbereich, mit großem Kamin, war sehr gemütlich und wir konnten dort wunderbar die Abende verbringen (Wii und viele DVDs vorhanden!). Unsere Skisachen haben wir bequem im Keller gelagert, wo sich auch die hauseigene Brauerei befindet (wir empfehlen eine Führung und alle Biersorten zu probieren!). Die Lage ist perfekt - direkt gegenüber von der Gondel. Außerdem gibt es einige leckere Restaurants, einen Bäcker, Cafés und einen Supermarkt in direkter Laufnähe. Hinter dem Haus gibt es außerdem eine Eislauf- und Curlingbahn, die wir auch genutzt haben. Sally und Tim sind tolle Gastgeber, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden dieses Ferienhaus jederzeit empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Wij hebben met 8 volwassenen en 2 kleine kinderen heerlijk genoten van alle luxe wat het appartement te bieden heeft! Aan alles is gedacht en de locatie naast de skilift is perfect. Daarnaast is de hulp van Tim en Sally voor reserveren van bijvoorbeeld restaurants en rodelavond super handig en behulpzaam. Wij gaan volgend jaar ongetwijfeld weer.

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in dieser wunderschönen Wohnung und hatten wieder mal eine tolle Zeit! Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Familienurlaub braucht. Ein besonderes Highlight ist natürlich auch der direkte Einstieg ins Skigebiet auf der anderen Straßenseite. Vielen Dank noch mal an die sehr netten Gastgeber Sally und Tim!

wij hebben ons nog nimmer zo welkom en thuis gevoeld als bij Tux DIamant, Sally en Tim Jones niets was teveel, de ontvangst was uiterst hartelijk en welgemeend. het huis is geweldig, en wij hebben al wat huizen `` over the world`` gehuurd en deze is bijna perfect voor onze groep van 9 met twee kleinkinderen. de ligging tegenover de skilift is ideaal en ook in de zomer zal dit huis een uitvalsbasis zijn voor vele activieiten. wij zullen zeker nog een keer terugkeren, als was het alleen maar om nog een avond van Tim´s verhalen te Mogen genieten.
