Lovely and idyllic place to spend relaxing days

Il Doccino is a very beautiful, spacious and quiet location in the lower mountains. You really can relax here, as you are out in the nature. The next village is about 10 minutes away by car. The 'Safari Tent' we booked was in a lovely forest of pines and in comparison to 'normal' campsites, you had more space and privacy. The tent was very new and in a perfect condition. Even during a thunderstorm at night with heavy rain, we felt safe and comfortable in it. The pool area is designed naturally and extensively. You always find a free place and through the whole day you find sunny or shady deck chairs. The whole area is very green and idyllic.

As mentioned you need to take the car for anything you want/need to do outside of il doccino (bakery, supermarket, restaurants etc.). This gets a little annoying after a few days.

A perfect place to relax for some days far from the stress of the normal life.

The location very nice, quite and comfortable. The staff very pleasant , Riccardo exceptional at the bar/restaurant service. The swimming pool, enough big and perfect enjoy with children.

A lovely stay with a few issues

The location is absolutely stunning, perfectly tucked away but not isolated. The roads to the property are easy to drive also. The chalet we had is basic but perfectly serviceable! And set in lovely nature surroundings. The pool is excellent as well as the little bar area. Lovely and quiet and the showers also have great water pressure! Other reviews say you have to wear a swim hat at the pool but you don’t.

Whether or not it’s a problem depends really but there is absolutely no WiFi or signal in the bungalows. Nothing, no calls no texts no internet. You have to walk to the pool at the hilltop to get signal. There is a lack of some more basic items in the bungalow e.g a kettle. Peculiar that you have to pay for bedding although our bedding was forgotten about and we never received it! Also we arrived at 3pm to check in after 12 hours of travelling and very little sleep and our bungalow wasn’t ready until after 4pm so we just had to sit tired and exhausted waiting for it to be cleaned which wasn’t an ideal start to the holiday!

Very good

Lovely place for a 'young' family holiday. The swimming pool is great and best described as a wonderfully soup of busy kids. Accomodation was fine, evenings quiet and peaceful. Some parents choose to sit in the bar why the kids were somewhat unruly. Lots of walks locally and not too far from the white beaches near Vada. The staff were always there if anything was needed. There is a shop on site providing the basic inc. bread etc.

Beautiful location in the mountains close to Cecina

The cabin was beautifully located in some trees in a quiet area. The view from the property was amazing with very short walking distance to the bar and pool.

the appartment was quite big, had a nice patio and garden and was super close to the beach.

there was a bare minimum of inventory we had to buy everything for the kitchen(no towels, spunges or other cleaning material), no garbage bags, toilet paper etc. also the ac that was advertised wasn’t working

Exceptional

Awesome location! every bungalow has a own barbecue possibility and a terrace. The swimmingpool and the bar are great, wonderful view. A own world on the real top of a hill.

The airco, situated over the oven in the kitchen, did not work 1 day and was not able to cool down the bungalow.

Beautiful location, but family bungalow was disappointing.

The location is beautiful and very peaceful. The pool is good, and there are plenty of sunloungers! You can buy basic food supplies in the small shop/bar on site. The views are stunning. Staff are friendly.

No-one was there to let us in on arrival, despite arriving within the allocated hours. We then had to wait half an hour for the place to be cleaned-why wasn't this already done? We stayed in a "family bungalow" which was a hot wooden chalet. On arrival the air conditioning did not work, there were several window mosquito nets missing or with big holes, a toilet seat was broken. Staff fixed these things within a day, but why weren't they fixed before we arrived? The bungalow was 5 minutes uphill walk to the pool, not so handy. There was no wifi in the "bungalow".

Nincs szúnyogháló. Klíma fizetős. ??? Nem fér bele? Az olaszon kívül gyenge tájékoztatás. Kérdezni kell mindent. Miért nincs eleve ki írva minden legalább angolul, németül. Esetleg egy tájékoztató lap az érkezőknek több nyelven?

La struttura si presenta veramente molto ben integrata nel paesaggio. Ottima la tranquillità, almeno nel periodo in cui ho soggiornato. Esperienza di completa immersione nella natura e nei suoi "rumori". Ottima la piscina con una buona quantità di ombra a me molto gradita. Ad un passo dal mare di Cecina, Bibbona e la loro splendida pineta. certamente una ottima struttura ma con qualche pecca. Consigliata.

come dicevo... qualche pecca... almeno nel nostro appartamento c'è: non è possibile non avere in dotazione un cola piatti (una volta lavate le stoviglie non si sapeva dove metterle a grondare) visto, del resto, il costo irrisorio di questo magari di una nota marca di mobili del nord Europa; anche la dotazione di stoviglie, piatti, bicchieri e posate era veramente extra minimal; la mancanza di zanzariere alle finestre non ci ha permesso di godere della frescura serale e notturna, anzi siamo stati costretti ad utilizzare l'aria condizionata (tra l'altro a pagamento... 10 € al giorno) e mantenere le finestre chiuse per evitare l'ingresso nelle camere di insetti molesti. Questa, per me, è una cosa molto seria e condizionabile sulla valutazione finale, che sarebbe stata sicuramente più alta, per questo mi permetto di suggerire alla direzione, di risolvere il problema.

Naprosto úžasná lokalita, krásný resort, velmi vkusné vybavení, skvělá cena. Hned jsme doporučili přatelům. Terasa byla tak velká, že jsem si tam dokonce mohla i po ránu cvičit jógu!.

Když jsem hledala popelnice, tak pan od restaurace mě značně nepříjemně odbil, že za restaurací rozhodně nesmím vyhazovat, tam je jen pro restauraci , aniž by mě nasměroval jinam. Jinak velmi milý personál. Slečna na recepci moc milá.

Tenda stupenda!! Tutto come in foto, mi è piaciuto tantissimo cucinare sul portico e avere una vista mozzafiato sulla natura. Abbiamo visto tanti animali, una donnola, una volpe, una lepre, un istrice. Di giorno faceva caldo ma, tenendo le finestre aperte in poco tempo alla sera si raffredda. Ottima posizione

Una buona struttura

Appartamento spazioso e pulito, anche la parte esterna del giardino privato della camera era curato e con tutto il necessario. La piscina è molto bella, molto comodo anche il bar accanto alla piscina. La posizione è buona, a meno di 10 minuti di macchina dal paese

i muri degli appartamenti sono molto sottili, inoltre non essendoci qualcuno che controlla in piscina può capitare che ci siano gruppi di ragazzi o bambini un po' molesti... ma non è colpa della struttura, più che altro delle persone maleducate.

Non avevamo tenuto conto che alla sera potesse fare freddo e la prima sera non eravamo ben attrezzati. Abbiamo rimediato chiedendo una coperta aggiuntiva il giorno successivo
