Sehr gepflegte und schön eingerichtete Anlage an bester Lage mit wunderschöner Aussicht auf das Umland inklusive Ätna. Tolles Frühstück und leckeres Abendessen (vorgängig klären, ob am gewünschten Tag das Restaurant geöffnet hat). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am schönen Pool werden kleinere Mahlzeiten serviert. Ideal, wenn man rund um Catania / Taormina Ausflüge mit dem Auto plant.

In den schön ausgestatteten Zimmern der Dependance hört man leider jedes Wort der Nachbarn. Der Pool ist erst ab 11 Uhr offen. Die Zimmer waren um 14:30 nicht bereit, obwohl wir die Ankunft angekündigt hatten und mussten eine Stunde warten. Wir wurden nicht ins Zimmer eingewiesen, man hat uns an der Rezeption einfach den Schlüssel in die Hand gedrückt. Der Safe im Zimmer war schlecht zugängig (im Lowboard hinter einer schliessbaren Türe, die keinen Schlüssel mehr hatte). Am Ankunftstag war das Restaurant geschlossen und wir mussten nochmals mit dem Auto ins Dorf fahren (wurde uns vor der Anfahrt nicht mitgeteilt). Wir würden hier aber jederzeit wieder buchen.

Talè was amazing, it was so beautiful and had the most spectacular views from the property. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and all of the staff were so kind and accomodating, helped us with transport as we didn’t have our own car and the swimming pool was so beautiful!

Tale is a beautiful property in a stunning location at the foot of Mount Etna, with breathtaking views of both the volcano and the sea. The pool is fantastic, we spent an entire day relaxing and swimming. We visited in June, and it was still really peaceful, often feeling as though we had the place to ourselves. The facilities are excellent throughout, and the breakfast did not disappoint. It was very hot during our stay, but our room in the annex building stayed pleasantly cool with good air conditioning.

We had a few unfortunate communication issues during our stay at Tale. We booked two nights specifically because we were looking forward to dining at the award-winning restaurant on both evenings. Unfortunately, we were never informed that the restaurant would be closed for the entire duration of our stay, which was a major disappointment. Prior to arrival, the hotel also confirmed via Booking.com that they could arrange an Etna tour with pickup from the property. Upon arrival, it turned out this was not possible. Overall, it felt like the hotel was understaffed during our visit. There was a wedding immediately after our stay, and it seemed much of the team's attention was focused on preparing for that. Given the price point, we expected a more seamless experience and better communication. Our other disappointment was the room in the annex building. The walls were extremely thin, and we could hear our neighbors talking and even snoring throughout the night. If you're a light sleeper, I would definitely avoid staying in that part of the property.
