The property is amazing! The view of the mountains is fabulous and the Rose Garden is the most beautiful garden I’ve ever seen! It is very large and it is filled with fun surprises. ❤️

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo splendido hotel e l’esperienza è stata semplicemente eccellente. La cucina merita una menzione speciale: piatti curati, ingredienti di qualità e sapori autentici che rendono ogni cena un vero piacere. I proprietari si distinguono per la loro educazione, disponibilità e attenzione verso gli ospiti, facendoti sentire accolto e coccolato dal primo all’ultimo giorno. La pulizia è impeccabile in ogni ambiente, segno di grande professionalità e cura dei dettagli. La camera era bellissima, spaziosa, confortevole e arredata con gusto, perfetta per rilassarsi dopo una giornata trascorsa immersi nella natura. Un vero gioiello è il roseto: curatissimo, ricco di colori e profumi, un angolo incantevole che contribuisce a rendere l’atmosfera ancora più speciale. Una struttura che unisce ospitalità, eleganza e amore per i dettagli. Un luogo dove si arriva da ospiti e si riparte con il desiderio di tornare.

Excellent spa / wellness area which appears to be a brand new extension. The sauna is large and has a nice view onto the Ortisei valley.

The pool looks nice in photos but it is very cold. The staff are not very friendly - courteous but not warm. The food is very average - more like school dinners than 4* hotel. Breakfast starts late at 8am (and best weather is always in first half of the day!) especially when the hotel is not central so you do need to start early to get anywhere. At breakfast there is no cooked options (we stayed at different hotel after where there were such options). The staff are cold - they did not make us feel very welcome. Hotel is located on outskirts of Ortisei and there is only one bus per hour (we decided not to drive for environmental reasons - there are plenty of public transport and so many people drive already that we thought it best to not add!). There is religious memorabilia everywhere - Christ, crosses, icons. Which is fine but this is not reflected in the pictures and it was a bit of creepy to have that much religious iconography everywhere. We had the worst room in the hotel - small, no bath, with view onto the road / no view onto mountain/ Ortisei valley and it is same price as rooms with view which makes no sense at all. I would not recommend - there are plenty of other options in Ortisei and St Cristina - including with warm pools and hot tubs and views. Food is really not as pictured - much more sloppy. Only one person (the main lady of the house) spoke English which made ordering wine difficult. No recommendations were given for hiking or best areas to explore in surrounding area or how the local busses cars included with the room worked or any other recommendations. The Menu is limited - very near focused and so if you are pescatarian you go for the vegetarian options which is exactly same as meat options but with the meat taken out - so you’d have polenta and cheese for a main if the meat option is veal and polenta. Need to be more interesting and improve the catering.
