Great place to stay. Close to coffee (Fire up) and breakfast at Annie’s both were excellent.

It's a great place to stay, just needs some added fine cleaning.

The location was minutes away from my son's wedding and within walking distance to eat or get a coffee.

We stayed in #10. Everything seemed great upon entering, but once settled in, we noticed it wasn't thoroughly cleaned. When using the bathroom, we found that the edges and corners of the floor had human hair and fuzzy debris upon wiping it with a tissue, the vent in the ceiling was disgustingly dirty, and the lights over the mirror were dirty to where it came off onto your finger when touched. The window sills had black mold and need a good scrubbing with a brush.

Not new, no problem! Unclean, not recommendable, considering the office remains closed for needed assistance.

It was relatively in the middle of the places I was traveling to.

Once checked in on Friday, the office was closed until I/people checked out on Sunday. My room smelled of cigarettes. The toilet seat had the cleaning solution still on it…if only that had been the only issue. Alto the floor appeared clean, my socks and feet were dirty from walking around. Not until the next day after being returning late from a wedding, did I see the hair & grime in the shower and realized my hand and body towels were filthy, on one side…unseen due to being folded to the inside. I was totally creeped & stressed out so much, I couldn’t sleep thinking what all else was dirty and imagining I was sleeping in someone else’s sheets - And, I had a 5.5-6 hour drive the next day. At checkout time next morning, the office still remained closed. Not until after checkout time, did I speak to the gal cleaning my room and shared with her my concerns showed her the dirty shower & towels. At that time, I stated I wanted credit for my stay. Although she felt bad, she said it was a new house keeper in training and there was nothing she could do, and, there was no manager available or on site to assist with my issues. Thankfully, I took a couple pix; but, didn’t think fast enough regarding the toilet seat or my dirty feet. I am disgusted, frustrated and so disappointed with the whole situation of my stay.

It was a good location for walkability in Spirit Lake. The room was nice. The bed could have used a topper or a whole new mattress. But it had all the amenities my family needed.

In and out service

I enjoyed the ease of booking, as well as the fact that you could check in online since we were arriving after check-in hours. We showed up and the key was already at our door which was nice! The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. It was quiet and we got a great nights sleep. The room was well stocked (coffee supplies and shower supplies) so we were able to relax in the morning.

We didn’t see a single staff member our entire stay. We arrived late so our key was already at our door, however in the morning I went to check out and ask some questions and the office door was locked and no one there around 9:30 am. I dropped my key in the drop box outside and away we went. It felt impersonal.

Second time staying and will continue to stay each year as we visit silverwood! Perfect location, cute town. Friendly staff! As we see them they ask if we need anything and to call/text if you do. Very accommodating as we arrived a little early.

Peaceful, convenient to Silverwood & Spirit Lake activities

This area is pretty slim on hotels and motels so there isn't a great deal of selection but Moose Inn was a good find. The rooms are one half of a cottage/ cabin and of good size. There is a quasi kitchenette with sink, microwave, fridge and coffeemaker but no cuterly or dishes. The king bed was very comfy, linens were nice. Check in is by key in a lock-box, I did not see any staff besides cleaning crew. Communication with management was easy through their guest portal or texting, response was quick. Note: There is no ice machine but there is a nice grocery store within close walking distance as well as a convenience store, gas and liquor store. Spirit Lake is a small town on Spirit Lake with camping and boating with all the things you need for a summer getaway.

A couple of chairs outside the cottage door would have been nice, otherwise, no complaints.

The floors were very dirty. Our feet were black walking from the bathroom to the living space. The door seal from the exterior needs to be replaced as you can see outside when the door is closed. The bed mattress was not comfortable- The springs were completely worn out.

Best hotel of our trip!

Great! Super spacious and clean, the bed was far more comfy than most hotels. Nice ac, TV, kitchenette, HUGE shower with great water pressure.

It was a little loud, the walls are just thin enough that we could hear the neighbors tv for a while. Luckily the ac fan drowned it out.

We got last room available. double beds and was the worst mattress I’ve ever slept or should I say try to sleep on. the heater was super noisy while it was getting ready to shut down once it reached setting. couldn’t have it on at night. would wake us up. the fridge made terrible noises also. The room to room door was a metal door and enhanced the noise from the next room! Our second night the people were always talking and noisy clear up until about 2am. The lady would go out and smoke about every hour and the door would slam. They had a cat that started meowing at 1 am and woke us up. We didn’t get much sleep for the two nights there.

Window blind falling apart, u can see thru. Heater fan filter falling apart making noise. We removed the filter n it was much better no noise.
