A great place to stay!

The apartment is VERY spacious and comfortable, the foosball table was fun! All the facilities are there - everything from a kettle to a washer/dryer, and the kitchen is fully equipped (oven, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher). There is parking right outside the unit on the street - we stayed for two days and came and went, never had trouble getting a park. At night it is very quiet so we always slept well!

The Internet connection was very poor (10Mbps download, 0.1Mbps upload) - we reported it so hopefully it will be fixed, but if this is critical for you it may pay to double check it has been addressed. There is also no washing powder/liquid provided for the washing machine so you will need to ensure you bring your own.

We arrived with our dog. The host told us dogs were not accepted and that her site made that clear. But BOOKING.COM listed the Gites d'Olbiche under "pet-friendly accommodation". Not the hosts's fault but Booking.com's

Beyond expectations

Easy access, clean and comfortable, very baby friendly (cot, changing mat, toys...)

Very minor but it was not obvious how to close the blinds in the bedroom but the owner explained once we asked. Heating is all automated/remote-controlled, which is fine but it wasn't clear and we searched a bit.

It was very easy to check in and out, and everything was good, was a nice stop for 2 nights.

Good location with quiet surroundings, free parking on street next to apartment. The one can see that the host is careful and every corner was clean at the apartment. With 2 kids it was very easy to live there. Large apartment in 2 floors. Close 25 min drive to Montsanmichelle.

Excellent place to stay in Normandie

Ideal Location, perfectly clean house, all is new inside, pleasure to stay in such excellent conditions. The house is equipped with all needed supplies, no need to bring lots of things. The house is located very well, easy access to everything: city center, Mont Saint-Michel, farms, museums, ocean, islands, Granville etc. Very welcoming and caring hostess. Covid19 rules are fully respected. 3 minutes of walk there is a marvelous parc with the view on Mont Saint-Michel. Ideal location and service, we are willing to be back.

La proximité avec le centre ville, l’espace pour se garer en moto dans la petite courette, le babyfoot, la propreté du logement la literie, les deux wc ( un à chaque étage ), le chauffage au sol .

L’extérieur donne directement sur la cour intérieure d’un immeuble, la peinture de la salle de bain est vraiment vétuste et il y a une odeur d’humidité ( après nous sommes en novembre et il a bcp plu les jours avant notre arrivée), les balles de babyfoot sont tellement vieille que c’est presque injouable mais la c’est vraiment un détail 🤣, TV ancienne, pas de YouTube ni Netflix ( mais bon on s’en passe ), un contact avec l’hôte très formel ! Messagerie pré fait envoyer, une liste longue comme le bras de ce qu’il faut faire ( Check out ) et de se qu’il faut faire ( Check in ) très détaillée mais sans vraiment de chaleur. Comme tout les autres avis nous n’avons pas manqué de lire toutes les recommandations à ne pas faire dans l’appartement ( on ne peut pas passer à côté !! ) je me suis même fait mal à la main avec les Rilsan qui sont coupés très court pour afficher qu’il en faut pas monter avec ses chaussures ni même manger à l’étage. Demande de message pour prévenir du départ qui restera sans réponse sans questions sans rien … un peu décevant sur ce point.

Das Apartment hat unsere Erwartungen - wie inseriert - vollumfänglich erfüllt. Sehr sympathisch war nach unserem Eintreffen der persönliche Kontakt von Isabelle. Die Kommunikation verlief jederzeit einwandfrei und unkompliziert; besten Dank für die wertvollen Tipps.

Ideal para viajar con niños, nubca habiamos ido a un apartamento tan bien preparado y cuidado para nuestro hijo, diafrutó muchisimo. La ubicación es también ideal, la calle muy tranquila, a buena distancia del centro para moverse a pie, y justo al lado del mirador hacia st Michel. Muy recomendable.

Sehr erholsamer Aufenthalt in einer wunderschönen Landschaft!

Tolle Lage gleich am Garten von Avranches mit phantastischem Ausblick auf die Baie und Le Mont Saint Michel!!!! Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit üppiger Anzahl von Besteck und Geschirr. Kinderbettchen und Spielzeug - plus Fußballspiel im Wohnzimmer ist es vermutlich die ideale Unterkunft für Familien mit Kindern. Sehr zentrale Lage, um die komplette Baie zu bereisen und zu erkunden. Durch die Lage hoch auf dem Berg ist es dort auch an heißen Tagen angenehmer als in der Bucht selbst. Parken außerhalb des Grundstückes in der ruhigen Strasse problemlos möglich.

Die Betten waren mir persönlich etwas zu hart, aber das ist vermutlich Geschmacksache ;-). Die Lüftung im Bad müsste gewartet werden, aber wenn man das Dachfenster öffnet, ist alles ok!

Un loft accogliente e ben attrezzato vicino al centro città. Ottima la posizione per raggiungere Mont Saint michel. A piano terra un soggiorno con cucina, divano, tv e un biliardino. Al piano superiore 2 camere da letto e un bagno grande. C'è anche un piccolo angolo con divanetto e una libreria con giochi per bambini.

Parfait pour une visite du Mont Saint-Michel

L'emplacement de la maison et le baby-foot entre la salle à manger et le salon. Pour les personnes avec enfant en bas âge, la maison est parfaite avec beaucoup d'équipements dédiés : une chaise haute, un lit pour bébé, beaucoup de jouets, une barrière pour les escaliers, etc.

Trop de consignes sur ce qui est permis et ce qui ne l'est pas. La liste est un peu trop longue ... Le chauffage est également un peu juste mais cela ne concerne que les locations en basse saison.
