Superview Lodge - Family-Run, Himalayan Sunrise

Family run little hotel, beautifully situated above the city, away from the noise. We woke up to a spectacular Himalayan sunrise. Walk out of the courtyard onto the steps leading to the famous viewpoint, observation tower and huge Ganeisha statue, to see spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks. There are numerous restaurants located along the steps including one at the top that has a nice view and really good service. If you plan ahead, the curry chicken cooked by the Hotel is excellent.

The mountain and sunrise views were breathtaking. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were exceptional, especially the elderly lady and her daughter-in-law. They took wonderful care of us and made us feel like family. Their kindness, hospitality, and warm behavior truly touched our hearts. We will always remember their genuine care and respect.

The only downside was that there were very limited food options available in Sarangkot. It would be great if there were more restaurants or dining choices nearby.

i LOVE the view and the quietness. We stayed here after our trekking to Mardi Himal and def what we need. I splurge myself with hot bathtub. This lodge run by the family and it nice to see that. The room is clean enough and they provided breakfast in bed due to we were so tired to go to the cafe.

The location is so far away from Lakeside Pokhara and the taxi ride is quite expensive even i booked through InDrive, the driver still wanted to negotiate with me on the fare. So much hustle! The hot water at the bathtub is not that hot and the next day we saw few black bugs (refer picture). For the price that i paid, they didnt even bother to provide toiletries, no soap no shampoo. I've told the staff but they said yes and later still didnt do anything. They also have few of miscommunication especially on the fare of laundry and other stuff. The service is very slow. We waited for our food for quiet sometime. I hope the family listen to the review and improve in the future.

The staffs there were friendly, always offering help. The view was great if the weather was good.

The shower wasn’t working properly and the staff there told me to use the kettle to boil water and shower which was ridiculous. Finally the problem was solved but I was frozen.
