Superview Lodge - Family-Run, Himalayan Sunrise

Amazing service and spectacular hospitality from the family. Felt very welcomed from the start. Communicating with them was always smooth. Property is just beautifully done. Each corner felt so purposeful, just looking at the garden or the reading room is enough to calm you down. Food there feels so comfy; you can just tell it was homemade and made with warmth. View from the place was amazing! It was so tranquil; you could see everything from Phewa Lake to the World Peace Pagoda and the Himalayas just from your balcony. We also booked paragliding with them which was an amazing experience. Overall, nice place to take a breather, especially since our group just came back from the ABC trek.

Do note that the location is a bit far from perhaps all your other places you want to see in Pokhara so be prepared to pay a bit more for taxis.

Family run little hotel, beautifully situated above the city, away from the noise. We woke up to a spectacular Himalayan sunrise. Walk out of the courtyard onto the steps leading to the famous viewpoint, observation tower and huge Ganeisha statue, to see spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks. There are numerous restaurants located along the steps including one at the top that has a nice view and really good service. If you plan ahead, the curry chicken cooked by the Hotel is excellent.

The mountain and sunrise views were breathtaking. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were exceptional, especially the elderly lady and her daughter-in-law. They took wonderful care of us and made us feel like family. Their kindness, hospitality, and warm behavior truly touched our hearts. We will always remember their genuine care and respect.

The only downside was that there were very limited food options available in Sarangkot. It would be great if there were more restaurants or dining choices nearby.

The staffs there were friendly, always offering help. The view was great if the weather was good.

The shower wasn’t working properly and the staff there told me to use the kettle to boil water and shower which was ridiculous. Finally the problem was solved but I was frozen.
