We were greeted warmly by a gracious man who offered us beer. After checking in he showed us to our room and I cried for joy. The extraordinarily beautiful poster bed with matching curtains and bedspread took me by surprise. Two comfortable chairs allowed us both to sit and relax. The spacious room and bathroom were delightfully clean. This is the perfect place to rest, especially if you are traveling the Camino Norte. The superior double is an excellent value-try to get it if it is available. I would rate this hotel 10 stars if I could.

Wonderful, friendly host! Lovely historic property, carefully restored. Beautiful rooms, with comfortable beds, lovely linens, and very clean. Wonderful Jacuzzi bathtub. Well set up to receive pilgrims on the Camino. Met us at the door with a glass of complementary cold beer after a long day on the trail! Would definitely recommend!
