More than just your cottage:

You and your dogs are welcome to wander the majority of the 6 acres of the gardens, the only private area is around the main house. Access to the gardens is round the back of the main house, at the end of the driveway.

This access also leads to our communal games room with full size snooker table, table tennis, and darts which we happily share with our guests and is always open.

New for 2024, we have a a large communal outdoor table and chairs, sun loungers and firepit bbq. This is situated in front of the games room, taking advantage of the beautiful garden vista. An additional space to enjoy whilst using the games room.

In this area is also a large children's climbing frame (one child declared; "Look mummy, a playground!") and a trampoline.

The main pond is stocked with coarse fish! Why not try your hand at some fishing during your stay, you only have to beat the herons, egrets and king fishers to it. Fishing rods are available to borrow.

Domesticated animals on site. Our own dogs (who are enclosed in our private garden, unless in the wider gardens with the family). We also have Ducks, Geese and Chickens who reside on and around the main pond.

Award winning pub 200 meters from our front door!

Where do i start! Angela and Rob (and you star) made us feel very welcome in the grounds of their home. Angela had even created a digital map with things to do and amenities close by. The pictures don't do it justice, for a two bedroom cottage it is massive. the corridor between the two rooms and living room even has a box of skittles at one end so the kids can play skittles along it! There is a pub/restaurant just round the corner The Bull which is excellent, friendly staff that accommodated our daughters soya and milk allergies with ease. Bath and Bristol are both equidistant from the cottage. We didn't have time to visit Bristol but when we visited Bath we parked at the park and ride which was very easy to use and buses are frequent. We really wished we could of stayed longer but unfortunately it was booked up. We'll be back! (Family of 4)
