Amazing staff and delicious food we had a great stay

The location is great - you’re super close to Deia but also having sea access in that area is hard to come by (although the sea access is not easy). The beds were comfy and the hotel communal areas are very nicely done. The shower room is a nice touch for those heading to the airport after check out. Sunbeds are in good condition and the large parasols were handy. The lunch menu was extensive and the food we had at lunch was of high quality (we ate out for dinners). The receptionists were helpful for booking taxis. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel is kept in the style of the Tramuntana villages which felt authentic. Views are spectacular!

We found the food at breakfast to be on the more basic end. The hot food was cold and it just didn’t feel overly special for a hotel like this. We have stayed at the Hoposa Pollentia and the breakfast there was far FAR superior to this. The rooms are incredibly basic - like a Premier Inn. Hairdryer attached to the wall, bathroom was like a wet room and just very basic. Felt that it was in desperate need of a refurb. Main bedroom was so tired and just lacked any character whatsoever. No one clears glasses or used towels by the pool so by 1pm it looked so tatty and shabby - such a shame. The staff are on the grumpy side but that didn’t impact our stay, just noticeable compared to other hotels in Mallorca. We also felt the hotel was understaffed. The servers at lunch also had to make the drinks (only 2 members of staff….). The rooms are noisy - we could hear the servers downstairs from about 7am and we were on the top floor. For c.600€ a night in August, this is an overpriced hotel. You are paying to be so close to Deia - be aware you are not paying for a nice room (unless you upgrade perhaps) and are not getting a 5* treatment whatsoever! The hotel could be SO much better if it wanted to be!

Incredible setting, the pool and sea access are perfect, loved being able to stay after checking out and use the facilities, including a shower room. Reception staff were great.

Restaurant staff and buffet chefs don’t give the best vibes. They don’t seem to be enjoying their jobs, they look a bit bothered. They are not terrible, but they are not at the standard you expect for such a beautiful place. Also, no one EVER comes to the pool, you have to open your own umbrellas, you have to go to order your own drinks, and the empty glasses stay there ALL day. Also, a small addition, not essential, but noticeable that not there, is small basic toiletries in the bathroom (shower cap, cotton buds…)
