I can not say enough wonderful things about the property. I was worried after reading the one negative review saying that it smelled like cats, but we were so pleasantly surprised. The house was clean and beautiful. We have 2 kids and could have easily had another family stay there with us, there was plenty of space and the kids loved the trampoline and having a private pool was amazing. The kitchen was beautiful and we loved sitting outside on the patio for dinner. There are cats living outside because even though it only a few kilometres from the city and beach, it is in a farming area. The property has an olive grove and vineyard and large garden. The cats were all actually very friendly and my kids loved all of them. The mention of having a room dedicated to cats next to the kitchen was completely misleading, that "room" was a garage, and guests should have no reason to be in there. There was no smell at all in the house. The owner of the property does live on the property, but were very friendly and helpful and very respectful of our privacy. The listing is for an "apartment", but it is really the bottom two floors of a villa, and does share an entrance with the owner that lives on the 3rd floor of the villa, but this is very normal in Italy to have a shared entry and didn't bother us at all. The location is great, just a few minutes to the city center and the beach. An absolutely lovely property and we will absolutely stay here again!
No complaints at all. You definitely do need a car to get there, it's not close enough for walking to town.
