We had a great stay in this house, Le Moulin. What a nice home. It's well equipped, cosy and nicely decorated. The garden is beautiful and peaceful. The view is fabulous. The kids loved the ping pong table as well. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We love the house and we love Normandy. We definitely want to come back!

Claire , the owner was such a delight to deal with well organised prompt and efficent, house is large very stylish and in a delightful grounds, good selection of outdoor dining and chairs etc. Arrival dierctions were hard to follow, but worth it when we got there(sat nav didnt help much) the House is set on three levels ( not ideal with anyone with mobility issues) and the main lounge is a large and interesting room with a mill race running past the rear window. Thought overall the house was good value for money in a beautiful setting our family of eight had a great time and we were lucky with scorching weather. Would not hesitate to go again Thanks again Claire

The Mill

The Mill

The Mill at Fierville-Bray is an idyllic get away home. The surrounding countryside is a beautiful expanse of green grain fields with a large stand of trees to the east of the house and a stream that runs behind the house that used to turn the mill wheel. Inside, the rustic character of the building's original purpose is maintained throughout the comfortably refurbished living areas. We felt like we were experiencing a piece of history. We were well provided with nice linens and towels and had all the modern amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms that we needed. The mill is located only a short distance from Caen with convenient highway access. We had no problem getting around in our rental car to the various sites we wanted to see. Each evening we were grateful to return to the peaceful setting of the mill. We were so glad we chose to stay outside the larger cities and got to experience the charm of one of the small villages that dot the Normandy countryside.

We were a party of 11 including kids. The house itself is lovely, plenty of space so no one ever got on top of each other. The house is in a small village so very peacful, it's a 5 min drive from some small local shops and 10 mins from a larger supermarket. The owner was great, good communication before our trip and during the holiday to make sure our stay was going well. Overall a great holiday in a beautiful, well kept house.

A group of 8 ( aged between 39 and 45) , us stayed at Le Moulin over the D-Day 70th commemoration weekend. The property is superb, all modern facilities and everything very well presented and looked after. The conversion that the owners undertook to the old millhouse is beautiful. The location is stunning with rolling fields to the rear, a peaceful rural environment yet all required amenities close on hand. As a base for exploring the Normandy coast and further inland, or simply lounging around, it was excellent. The owners were always incredibly helpful and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would not hesitate to recommend for large groups.

Dans cet ecrin d'histoire, nous avons été particulièrement bien accueillis ! Tout était simple et précis, annonce tout à fait conforme et la communication avec Claire était agréable et rapide. Hôte très disponible par message et pour répondre à toutes nos interrogations. Le Moulin est au calme et au vert. Les lits sont très confortable et la cuisines très très bien équipée. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour en famille dans cette très belle maison. Claire a été très arrangeante à la fois sur la date, car nous avions dû reporter à cause du confinement, mais aussi sur l'heure de départ. La maison est superbe, très propre, le terrain est très grand, avec une table de ping pong à disposition, un vrai bonheur pour les enfants et les ados. Le logement est situé à 30 min de la mer en voiture ce qui est très pratique. Isolée avec vue sur les vaches et au milieu des champs, la maison est au calme. Merci à Claire et son mari pour leur accueil.

Nous avons passé un tres agreable sejour. Lors du confinement nous sommes partis tres vite et nous avons ete accueilli par Claire qui est adorable et tres disponible. La maison est en retrait de tout, tres belle bâtisse au bord d’un ruisseau, tres calme et surtout tres propre. Je recommande vivement!
