The property was lovely. it was the location was a little out of the way with only single track roads from every direction that were in poor condition. The games room was great with loads of games, table tennis,pool and table football. The weather was excellent Sunny every day Local walks were peaceful and rewarding with lots of hills and valleys to explore. Overall a great place.

Booked this cottage for October half term. It is in a rural location on a farm which was great for kids. The cottage is very well equipped and super cosy yet spacious. The beds were very comfortable with lovely thick duvets. All 3 of the bedrooms were large and the bathroom was also. The water was always hot and the shower was powerful (important after a day out in the rain!). The main living area is open plan with comfortable sofas and an additional fire if needed. The view over the Devon hills (and cows!) is just lovely. It also has a lovely outdoor seating area and garden with chickens and apple trees. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They make their own apple juice, gorgeous cake and sausages if needed. The village doesn’t have a pub or shop but we got our weeks food delivered by Tesco which was great. It’s about 4 miles from Honiton and a bit further to Sidmouth. Sidmouth is a lovely seaside town and worth a visit, as is Beer. We also went cycling around the exe estuary, explored Dartmoor, went to Haldon forest and visited Lyme regis. It’s a great base for lots of east Devon activities.
