Colombaio di Cencio

The property is lovely. Very big wine yard with a clean and quiet pool, lovely park and garden (the vegetables you can pick there are delicious). Our host helped us with every question and responded quick. Also it’s very nice that they only have 4 apartments in total - so even if the place is fully booked you have your peace.

We knew that we booked the place without air condition - unfortunately the ventilator in our room was broken so we had to buy two new ones the next day. Also some handles of the kitchen counters were loose and we quickly had to fix them.

Ein herrlicher Ort um die Seele baumeln zu lassen! Toller Pool, wunderschönes Haus, schönes Weingut. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für entspannte Tage braucht. Es gibt viele Freisitzmöglichkeiten und viel Platz am Pool.

La nature environnante est exceptionnellement belle, le cadre est calme, la maison est vraiment très jolie. la piscine divine. Il y a 3 appartements dans la maison visiblement, mais on ne croise que très rarement ses voisins. Parfois au bord de la piscine mais elle est tellement grande qu'on peut la partager :) L'hôte nous a offert quelques légumes de son potager qui étaient délicieux. Difficile de repartir de cet endroit! La maison est également plutôt bien située proche des différents sites à visiter.

Views were terrific. Photos are accurate; we stayed upstairs in the 2br. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen were solid.

AMENITY NEEDS AC!!! Other venues in the area have AC, and Colombaio needs to install it! Space was Sweltering and 10 degrees HOTTER indoors, but too buggy to leave windows open!! Manager Anne was terrific and very responsive, however, no one works weekends, so if you need anything, you're on your own. I also had to ask for pool towels, and we could not get extra bedsheets (to sleep downstairs in the slightly cooler living room) because Manager could not access sheets! They also need more outlets next to beds (only one is provided, and the bedside lamp is plugged into it). The swimming pool was great, but on the first morning, it was COVERED with small dead flies, and again, no one was maintaining it, so I had to skim it, and it was a big job.
