Absolutely beautiful view, the room was clean and facilities were good. Location was not too far from the centre of Menaggio as well so very convenient.

I started my solo Italy trip at this beautiful accomodation and it was just breathtakingly perfect. My room backed directly onto Lake Como, and the sun came shining in every morning making it feel like a dream! Comfortable bed, good room facilities, all you need for a short stay. Staff were incredibly friendly. They offered breakfast at the accomodation for an extra price but it was reasonable and convenient as the main town is roughly 15 mins walk away. Perfect stay if you don’t mind the walk!

Quiet and cozy place. I loved our bedroom view as it faced the lake and the mountains of Lake Como. The space was very clean, and our room was made up and cleaned every day. They also have a large parking area. We were able to swim in the lake, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a Villa Cipressi booking, and the owner was incredibly kind and helpful. We were almost late because there were no buses passing, and public transport around Lake Como is not very reliable. She kindly drove us to the ferry terminal early in the morning so we could make it on time for our villa check-in. We really appreciated her help.

The only drawbacks were the lack of reliable public transport around Lake Como and the ferry station being about a 20-minute walk away. While it is walkable, the June heat makes the walk quite uncomfortable. At times there were no buses available, which made it difficult to get around and almost caused us to miss our ferry and villa check-in. We later learned to rent a scooter, which made getting around much easier for the rest of our stay. The room also had no air conditioning.

The lady at the reception was helpful, she spoke English, described everything relevant. The hotel has its own shore, it is great to sit there in the evening. You do not here the trafic in the room. There is parking possibility. The room had a balcony.

There was no airconditioner in the room, which gets the sunlight directly in the first half of the day. There is no mosquito net on the balcony door. The room is quite small. The fridge was really small and lazy.
