Ferienhaus Sonnleiten

We were in Walchsee for the 70.3 triathlon. From our accommodation, everything in the village was within walking distance, making it an ideal base for this annual event. The house fits well into its surroundings: traditionally built, although somewhat outdated. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. But honestly, next time we would search for another place in that area, we discovered better places.

The description stated that there would be two bathrooms available. However, upon arrival, we discovered that only one bathroom was accessible. When we asked the host where the second bathroom was located, we did not receive a clear answer. We could use the toilet with a mirror as the second bathroom. Eventually, we found a key box containing a key to a room downstairs, next to the other two bedrooms. This key turned out to provide access to the second bathroom. It was disappointing that we had to discover this ourselves and did not receive a clear explanation from the owners. They may have intended to keep the second bathroom for their own use, but in that case, the description of the house should state that only one bathroom is available rather than two.
