I am female and enjoy travelling on my own. Safety and being near the sites is important for me. I felt 100% safe and cared for. Patrick, the host, arranged my transport which was amazing. The driver Shalilda was waiting for me, and he was GREAT! He also picked me up at 3am in the morning, so I could make my flight back home. I was in safe hands. Patrick met me at Turtle Towers and escorted me to the apartment. I love that the elevators worked independently of each other, so there was almost no wait for an elevator. The apartment is a great quiet studio!! The kitchen was excellent, and the bed was nice and firm. There were plenty of towels and soap. Patrick showed me how the key fob worked and had a fan brought to the apartment when he noticed that the one there wasn't working. He brought it in under 10 minutes! It is in a gated complex with 24hr security, and the pool is right outside the lobby door. The wifi worked and the ac was strong!! Vanessa came to clean the apartment and was very nice and made sure I had everything that I needed. Everything is in walking distance. I was close to the city center without hearing the music late at night. Everyone who worked there was friendly and gave excellent advice on where to get the best dishes :) I felt safe and walked everywhere. I highly recommend Janglee seafood restaurant in Fishermen Village and Reggae Ally has the best breakfasts, plus they open early and the service is fantastic. Also, there is a back entrance and exit at the complex which I highly recommend for walking towards the city center, it saves you 10 minutes. If you follow the path to the beach, you will see KFC and a block away is the General Supermarket (an air conditioned supermarket with a lot of options), and the open market is a block past that one. I really can't say enough good things about Patrick, Shalilda, Vanessa, the apartment, the complex and the surrounding area. I am going to save up, so I can go back next...

It took me a few days to get used to the humidity. That was rough, but I brought my trusty personal fan which did help.

He was a lovely guy done everything to help us everything was on your doorstep you didn’t need a car but we did have one lots of parking

They should be something like a card to tell you how to use the facility but we did manage

•Quiet environment •Security is amazing •Hot water works well •Pool is clean and life guard available for about 12hrs daily.

No soap dish or shower caddy in the shower. Bathroom had no mats upon arrival.
