A perfect quiet retreat close to Split

Property was right on the beach. Inside was nicer and cleaner than the photos make it look! AC worked great. Area was safe, I was solo traveling and was able to walk around at all times. Bus stop close by to get you quickly to Split.

Restaurants in the area closed early and most just served pizza, burgers, pasta, I was hoping for more local cuisine. No nightlife in the area.

Very kind owners, beautiful place and beach. The place is silent and far from traffic road. We always found a free space on the beach (about 50 m far from the apartment. Very clean apartment. Freezer was missing in fridge but we could use owners' freezer.

Location, location, location!

If you are looking for a true beach holiday (Beach. Eat. Sleep. Repeat), then this location is perfect. Ivanica and his mum are really kind and welcoming. There was a terrace with table and chairs, a perfect spot for breakfast with beautiful views of the marina and Stobrec. The marina is exactly right in front of the house, like two steps as you walk out the gate. Beach Strožanac is just a few more steps to the left if you are facing the marina. There are three sit down restaurants along the beach, plus a café for drinks and ice cream. In the other direction there is another beach further down, plus 3-4 other 'fast food' options, a fish fry place and ice cream. There's another sit down restaurant called Chevap House, really good food, excellent service. It was just me and my two teen daughters. We arrived with the night train from Budapest into Split. I didn't have a car, but getting around with Bolt / Uber is easy, and there's a bus stop right by the apartment that goes straight into Split which we used a couple of times too. But, honestly, it was perfect, everything we needed was right there. The apartment had all the necessary amenities, including air conditioning. The supermarket is just a four minute walk away, you can walk to Stobrec, there are some nice beaches and restaurants there too, plus cliff jumping! There was one rainy, cold day when we went to Klis Fortress and the Olive Oil Museum - that was amazing too, highly recommend. The taxi ride cost about 15 euro from the center of Split.

There are quite a few stairs, because it's on the top floor, which we didn't mind at all - and it's a good workout for the beach bod upkeep. :D So this should be taken into consideration.

Great studio next to the sea.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The studio had everything one needs and the sea-view was great. It's next to the beach also. Great for swimming. The host family lives on the ground floor and they were really nice and helpful.

Exceptional

We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed every second of it. The accommodation is very clean, and have all the necessities like washing machine, coffee maker and air con. The view is amazing! Host were lovely and told us where to find closest atm, supermarket etc.
