We would stay here again.

Conveniently located, clean and spacious apartment. Very quiet inside even though right across from train station. Kitchen was well stocked with all necessary utensils. We were comfortable enough to add a night to our stay.

Spacious and clean, free parking on site but very low roof which makes moving around less comfortable.

Fast check-in, spacious and clean apartment, beds were comfortable and free parking on site. Location is fine for when you’re just passing through. Not much to do in the neighborhood.

We stayed in apartment #3 which is right underneath the sloping roof. This meant we could only walk upright in the middle of the room. Everywhere else we had to walk somewhat bent over (we’re both 1.80m). The kitchen did not have an extractor hood which resulted in a smelly room after cooking and the bed is right next to the kitchen.

Beautiful apartments, in a local with very easy access to pretty village and station 3 stops to central Freiburg. Kerstin has been fantastic. Would definitely recommend. Thank u.

Great value for many, spacious apartment, great location

Great location, nicely decorated with all necessary amenities, just a couple of minutes to the S Bahn station that takes you to Freiburg or great locations around the Schwarzwald incl Honterzarten, Tittisee, Feltberg etc.

I highly recommend this well located and clean property.

Kerstin the host was extremely gracious and helpful during my stay and her property has all the needed conveniences and is beautifully kept. The location is right across the street from the train station and Freiburg is a 20 minute ride.

Nice apartment but a bit disappointing

Very good shower and all basic equipment. Very convenient location for local public transport. Easy parking. Short walk to pleasant pedestrianised town centre and nice restaurants and small supermarket.

Kitchen area very cramped. From photos we expected a balcony but we had the attic apartment with sloping roof , no balcony and no views. Since there was no washing machine but there was an iron. It would have been useful to have provided a clothes horse.

Location is really good and the apartment was nice.

The beds were clean, comfortable and overall apartment was well equipped. The located is really very good (just in front of the train station), downstairs there is a bakery and all supermarkets are on walkable distance.

Superb

The appartment is amazing. We were there 8 nights with family of 5 people and we feeled as at home. There are all needed facilities in the appartment -washer, dishwasher, fan, towels, soap, kitchen equipment e t.c. The location is perfect for discavering Black Forest. There is a free parking just near the appartment. Also train station is just in front of the appartment and guests get guest card that allow free train and bus moving. We arrived by car, but used a train for travelling to Freiburg. For us noise of close train station was not an issue at all, we didn't hear it. The supermarket is 8 minutes by foot, cafe is below the appartment (there is only cash payment available in the cafe).

The terasse of the appartment located on the side of stairs and looks to the parking. There is a cellular antenna very close to the appartment, but I hope it is not so critical for the short visit.

Perfect stay in Kirchzarten.

Despite being close to the station I found the noise very minimal which was very convenient. The kitchen is well-equipped and the dining room table is great to work at and eat at.. Enjoyed sitting out on the terrace on the warm summer evenings. Having a toilet upstairs and downstairs and TV's in all rooms was really great.

The mattresses were very soft folding up when one sat on them. Also missed a broom.

Exceptional

Price-value this was by far the best accommodation in the large vicinity. If you plan to spend most of your time outdoors, which I recommend in the Black Forest, this place has everything you need for a perfect home base. Comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, great connection with the free public transport literally outside your door, a bakery on the ground floor and shops nearby. All the highlights of the region are within your reach. And even spending time indoors, we wouldn't have minded. The host is also super nice and accessible.

The only thing I can maybe say is that the boiler is maybe a bit small. Maybe it is a settings thing, but we hardly could get two warm showers next to each other.

Very nice accomodation in a beautiful area

Very sweet owners, they were easy to contact and always ready to help. There was free parking, all necessary ammenities, and public transport right across the street, that you even get a free area ticket for. The area is beautiful to drive around, with all the mountains, lakes, and small towns. We had a great time staying here.

Modest large apartment, convenient location.

Large 2 bedrooms apartment with terrace. Philips Senseo coffee machine (3 capsules included), tea maker, toaster, fridge (no freezer), stove, kitchenware, microwave, oven, no dishwasher. Washing machine. Toiletries. Salt, pepper and paper towels. Easy parking by the property. Few stairs to the first floor. No front desk, you have to call the property 30’ before arrival. Good location. 5-minutes walk to downtown with grocery, restaurants, bakeries, pharmacy. Train station in front of the apartment - 14min free ride to Freiburg with the Gastekarte the property provides upon arrival due to the local taxes you pay in cash (4,20€/day).

It could be cleaner and better maintained (curtains hanging broken).

Enjoyed the location so will certainly return to this apartment agian when I visit the area again.

My only COMFORT issue was that the bed mattresses were soft and I am accustomed to a firm mattress. This is simply a personal choice.

Wir kommen gerne wieder, empfehlenswert.

Gute Lage, direkt am ÖPNV-Knoten, sodass man schnell im Schwarzwald und in Freiburg war. Dennoch war es Dank guter Schalldämmung sehr leise. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Vom Apartment gab es für eine kleine Kurtaxe ÖPNV-Tickets für uns für die gesamte Reisedauer - quasi wie ein Deutschlandticket Light für den Raum Freiburg/Schwarzwald. Moderne Ausstattung in der Wohnung, alles war sauber. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Loistavalla sijainnilla huoneisto vailla ilmanvaihtoa!

Paikan emäntä oli oikein ystävällinen ja miellyttävä. Sijainti oli loistava. Huonekohtainen autopaikka katon alla oli mainio. Sänky hyvä. Keittiössä oli kutakuinkin kaikki mitä tarvitaan lyhyellä lomalla kahdelle hengelle. Pyykkikone kylpyhuoneessa oli plussaa. Aamiaisleivät sai helposti ostettua alakerran leipomosta.

Ilmanvaihtoa ei ollut lainkaan (huoneistossa ei ollut yhtäkään ilmanvaihtoventtiiliä), piti pitää ikkunoita / parvekkeen ovea auki, joka kylmällä säällä ei ollut kovin miellyttävää. Kylpyhuoneen katto todella likainen, taisi olla jopa homeessa tms. Kylpyhuoneen lattia oli erityisen kylmä. Lattiat vaikuttivat pesemättömiltä. Asunto oli kovin pelkistetty, olisi ollut kiva, jos olisi ollut esim. matto lattialla, niin olisi ollut vähän kodikkaampi. Koirasta kohtuuton hinta (120 e).
