Great value for money accommodation

I loved how it felt familiar, and lovely neighbour hood. The Family that owns the Hotel are very friendly and kind. Will definitely go back.

The staff is impolite and unprofessional, the way they communicate with the guests was surprising to me. moreover, the room was dirty, i will never repeat such experience

The staff was courteous. They even helped us with a kettle as best as they could

The hotel building is very old and not maintained.

I didnt really liked anything, the pictures of the interior seem to be outdated.

There was an awful smell on the 2nd floor, like an old ladys house, and we soon found a pile of dog facies on the floor, so I think it might be that and all the dogs/cats that defecated on the carpets before us. The room was seemingly clean, all untill we found animal hair on our bedsheets, blankets, pillows, even in the towels they provided us.. It was awful and disgusting! So when we reached out to the reception, they just changed things for new ones, that were washed probably in the same washing machine beforehand, and guess what? There was animal hair in them aswell! They didn't want to refund us anything, so we had to leave before time. Never going back there, and you should not go either, for the sake of your own health! Loving animals and accepting them to the rooms, doesn't mean that you put animals in all of your rooms, making no exceptions for guests without animals and mixing them together. And of course not even mentioning that they did not clean properly the stuff that they provided. There could be medical problems, like allergies caused of that, or worse, infecting people with parasites!

The room was very clean and the stuff was very nice.

It was a little bit far from Schluchsee and no public transport available. There was no store or restaurant nearby. So no possibility for a dinner. The room didn't have shower gel or hair dryer.

Rooms and breaksfast very good for the price. Hotel hosts were accomodating. It clearly says the restaurant is closed, so no problem. I do not understand the bad reviews, so thats why I give it a 10, to offset the other reviews. We had a room with a nice balcony and view, and the bathroom was clean and renovated. The house itself is a bit older, but thats okay. other hotels in this location sometimes ask double the price for a room. We enjoyed our time and are visiting again.

Only thing that bothered me was that there was no shampoo.
