Well-located hotel in Schluchsee

Breakfast was good and not too expensive. Parking on the property was available for a nominal fee. The hotel is located a short walk from the main part of the town where we had a nice dinner at the Kurhaus, a Greek restaurant.

Our stay there was not very memorable, just a stopping place between home and our first real destination on our road trip from Switzerland to the Netherlands. We chose Schluchsee because of location and the Pension am See because it had parking on site.

last minute booking and only used as a stop but expected more for the price and description

it was nothing like the description, expected it to be close to the lake with views but none were seen. had to wait an hour outside for a key even though we turned up at the correct time as per our ETA. no reception so had to wait for a key to be driven to us. bathroom very dark and verging on unusable due to lack of light

Nothing. Won’t be staying again

Advert stated reception open until 8pm, yet there was no staff on site at 7pm when we arrived. Friend’s key wasn’t ready, had to wait 40 mins for staff to arrive and get his room key. Booked a double room: was two single mattresses pushed together with separate bedding. No lake view despite the name “am see” (at the lake?) Bathroom very dark, only a small window and a small light. No mirror in the bedroom.

Not worth the money

Location was very good, close to the main town and the lake. Sufficient parking places.

The rooms are outdated with dull lighting. specially bathroom is very old. Our family room had only one bin in the bathroom, no bins in other areas. The so called beachfront is a poorly maintained backyard. I have lived in better properties in Schluchsee and Titisee for less prices, definitely not worth the money.

Cosy room by the lake

It was my husband's birthday when we visited the lake. The hotel staff were so friendly and they upgraded our room for free and prepared cake and wine for us. The room was clean and located very close to the lake and to some nice restaurants. We enjoyed the sauna in the room very much. It is a great place to stay in summer and winter!

Anonymität. Self-Checking unpersönlich (auch wenn es geklappt hat). Einsparungen auf Kosten des Gastes nach meinem Dafürhalten inakzeptabel. Einrichtung teilweise veraltet oder nicht funktionstüchtig (Lift).

Lift defekt. Zimmerschlüssel defekt. Gestört hat uns, dass andere Hotelgäste ihren Hund mit zum frühstücken genommen haben.

Nie wieder.

Nicht viel, eigentlich nur die Lage.

Wenn ich gewußt hätte das die Komunikation nur über die Schweiz läuft und nur über Internet, selbst für die Angestellte nur über WhatsApp, was sehr umständlich ist. Wir haben unsere Gästekarte ( Kronuskarte ) nicht erhalten da der Link den man per E-Mail bekommt nicht funktioniert hat. Das haben wir von anderen Gäste auch erfahren, also kein Einzellfall. Dadurch hatten wir zusätzlich Kosten für Besichtigungen und Ausflüge die normalerweise mit dieser Karte kostenlos dabei gewesen wären. Die Außenanlage könnte auch mehr Aufmerksamkeit und pflege bekommen. Morgens ist eine Person da zum Frühstück machen und muß sich gleichzeitig um die Anliegen der Gäste kümmern, was zu dem Umstand führt das nichts richtig klappt. Es ist alles nur auf Profit und maximalen Gewinn ausgelegt. Für diese Leistung war es definitiv zu teuer.

Trotz Regen gabs Ausflugsmöglichkeit, sodass wir eine schöne Zeit verbrachten.

Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam. Bei gutem Wetter hätten wir die Terasse und den Seeanstoss sehr geschätzt.

Toller Kurztrip am Schluchsee

Der Schlüssel-Tresor war unverschlossen, offen und der Batch für jedermann zugänglich. Für Senioren besser darauf hinweisen, dass kein Schlüssel, sondern ein elektronischer Batch vorhanden ist.

Tolle Lage. Pension mit Charme

Sehr bequeme Matratze. Großes Doppelbett. Die Lage ist klasse. Parkplatz inklusive. Frühstück auf der Terasse mit tollem Blick.
