Apartment Biolay, Alpes Agency, Central Chamonix, Sleeps 6

This apartment is in a quiet area but walking distance to down town. WiFi worked well. It has three bedrooms which is nice.

I used the downstairs bedroom and the bed takes up most of the room so there is no place to open a suit case other than the bed and there wasn’t a dresser or shelves so if I had wanted to unpack my only option was a small closet where the rod was so close to the shelf above it that it was hard to hang things up. It wasn’t the end of the world but it just felt cramped. The shower only has a partial partition and a shower wand so it’s hard to shower without getting the floor wet. The “shampoo” was a bar of soap. The washer and dryer are outside and’s accessible from one of the upstairs bedrooms. The cycles are close to two hours so it makes doing several loads of laundry a long process.

No balcony. The entrance to the chalet from the backyard. No views from the living room. No cleaning provided at all even during the stay for more than one night. Poor cosmetics kit - only small pieces of soap. The sauna didn’t work while we were promised compensation for that

Great apartment, fantastic facilities and everything you could want in the kitchen.

Location wasn’t fantastic if you don’t have a car, it is a long walk to the ski lifts and buses. Fantastic chalet but more suited to a group with a car or who doesn’t mind walking in ski boots!

We were met on time .Plenty of kitchen equipment and lots of hot water . Problems were addressed quickly.Good car parking space .

One of the lounge chair seats was broken , one of the twin beds was so uncomfortable we had to add the spare mattress ( just a thin bit of foam) to it , the TV was broken when we arrived but was replaced quickly . The door handle on the en suite bathroom is broken . Could have left us some matches and wood to use the wood burner. Could have left us some bin bags .
