Beautiful setting, quiet, lots of wild life and easy access to excellent cycle routes.
The setting is amazing. As a photographer the chance to walk around the grounds and see wild boar, deer and Ragondin (large semi-aquatic rodent similar to an otter) is a major plus. Also, as a cyclist, cycle route 45 is right outside the drive so there is plenty of off road/quiet road cycling to be done right outside the door.
Like a lot of people have mentioned, there is no way to access the property on arrival. There is no call button on the gate and the drive is very long so nobody will ever see you sitting there. I was sitting at the gate for a while trying to switch my phone on and dial the number given when the gate opened, as someone must have spotted us sitting there on the CCTV camera. This is probably why they wish to know your arrival time so they can keep a look out. You just need to be emailed the gate code once you've booked.

What a wonderful experience. It could only have been better if we’d booked a longer stay! Exceptional in every way. Prop
Stunning, bucolic setting, with a beautifully renovated set of buildings dating to 1699.
There is absolutely nothing about the property or it’s staff that we didn’t like.

Beautiful, paeceful location, huge room, superb hosts.
Lovely property with huge room and stunning views all round of the lake. Comfy beds and peaceful rural location with ducks, peacocks and emus.. Lots of secure parking. Martine and Hubert were very welcoming and gave us good advice on where to go for dinner. We enjoyed chatting with them and the other couples at the excellent communal breakfast. We had a fabulous sunrise over the lake in the morning. We only stayed one night as we were driving through but would definitely come back if we visit the area for longer.
Nothing but note you need to drive to eat in the evening which didn’t bother us.

Very good
breakfast was great, Chantal was welcoming and helpful. the domaine is a peaceful venue and we enjoyed staying there.
We stayed in the gite, which has disabled access, although we aren't disabled, we wanted to be able to cook for ourselves occasionally. It is well set up, with wide doors and access, although not a large space. we found it difficult to air the gite overnight, we kept the door open when we could, and Chantal provided a fan part way through the week. thats the only minor downside, otherwise we were very happy there

Absolutely delightful.
What a splendid place to stay. We loved the animals nearby and our accommodation was excellent. The bed had to be the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in!! We had everything we needed and Chantal was incredibly friendly and helpful. The wifi was really good and we were able to park right next to our suite. As I have mobility issues, being able to stay in a suite designed for the disabled was perfect for me. The location was brilliant as we love Le Passage and Le Hezo, which are very nearby, but it was also handy for popping off to see friends just to the north of our accommodation. We were very grateful to be able to enjoy the benefits of your lovely property.
the induction hob, it took forever to heat up so we gave up and used the cooker in our camper van!
