'Still Waters' is a luxurious four bedroomed villa in Kommeno. Being just a 5 minutes walk down to the sea and 10 minute stroll to the nearest restaurant this is a perfect positioned villa. Built within the private grounds of the medieval fortress which is floodlit during the evening, this is Corfu's most prestigious address. Large private pool within stunning grounds and views over the bay of Gouvia. It is without a shadow of a doubt one of the most desirable properties available for rent. It has been a second family home to its British owners for fourteen years and has been lovingly cared for. The garden with its tropical foliage is an absolute paradise with a picture postcard view. The villa itself is built to the highest of standards. No expense has been spared, with fixtures and fittings being of the best available. The Sea is within walking distance (5 mins), accessible via a footpath by the main entrance to this upmarket private gated community. Boat hire and Water-Sports are also just a five minute walk away. There are several Restaurants which are also within walking distance so the use of a car in the evening is not a necessity. This villa will provide the most discerning of guests a dream holiday with memories that will not fade with time.

The villa and facilities were as described and we had a great holiday. But it was our first time to Corfu and we were surprised by the noise of the planes flying overhead, most noticeably at night (the airport is right next door to Corfu Town), and also the music pollution from a hotel across the bay - their lunchtime Zumba classes and night time bar music was inescapable and spoiled the otherwise peace and quiet. There is no swimming beach within easy walking distance (doesn’t matter as the pool is great), and it’s about a 15 minute /20 Euro taxi ride into Corfu Town. Gouvia Marina nearby has some nice bars and restaurants. The day’s “free” boat use is provided by a very nice and responsible company a short walk/drive from the villa.

Avec sa grande piscine, son jardin, la vue sur la baie de Gouvia, la villa est vraiment tres agréable. Belle chambre de maître a l'étage, les 3 chambres en Rez de jardin sont un peu moins plaisantes, avec petites fenêtres et sans accès direct au jardin.
La localisation est parfaite, avec tous les commerces alimentaires à moins de 10 mns en voiture (et possibilité de stationnement). Accès rapide aux plages tant vers le nord-est que vers l'ouest, ainsi qu'à la ville de Corfou (10 kms).
Un point à améliorer : la vaisselle (assiettes) est vraiment trop juste pour 8 personnes.

WOW!!!, just returned from a week in paradise-Still Waters. We were after a week of relaxing and got much more,the views are amazingly breathtaking and we got every inch of peace and tranquility we were after. Still Waters is a great location and felt welcoming straight away. Offering really comfy beds and fluffy towels (a must for me) nicely decorated and comfy furniture (both outdoors and in) we hired a car but everything is walkable -beach and restaurants. Really would recommend for a family holiday, very private and relaxing. Shall definatley be returning 😎

We had our best ever holiday at Still Waters, very spacious accommodation, excellent furniture and beds, full kitchen but did not use it much as the local restaurants were very good.
The garden and pool were just the best, the whole family enjoyed this villa, as soon as you open your eyes in the morning we couldn't wait to have coffee on the veranda over looking the garden and sea below.
Good location to get in to Corfu town and other sights on the island.
Anybody going must book a boat hire below house on the seafront to go to Agni Taverna in Agni Bay, it is a must
