Griya Ayu Inn

Very cute, quiet place without traffic noise. The facilities are fair, the aircon works fine, the internet as well. They do not provide breakfast, but there are many nice places around to get it. There is a beautiful pond with fishes you can play with 🙂

Everything is okay, fair for its price. Nothing to complain about.

It was clean

Swimming pool was under maintenance which was not shown upon booking. The water on shower was slow and the sink was clogged. The air conditioner was poor. Overall not a nice play to enjoy your holiday

Very typical Balinese accommodation. Very quiet and leafy. Pool is amazing. Staff are accommodating. We love the atmosphere of this lovely little gem.

Room is very basic, but has everything needed. Soap and bottled water provided.

Location is close to Sanur Harbour

Location 15 min away from the beach but still difficult to close the main road

This place needs a big renovation of the rooms, it reminded me of or a 100 years old apartment with no renovation or a poor hospital. I didn't expect something extraordinary for the money paid but a minimum comfort. I read so many good comments about this place and even it had a good note and I really hoped to have a good stay there but it was the WORST place I reserved in Bali (I stayed in 6 hotels in 2 weeks) and may be one of the worst I ever stayed in my life. Arrived there, the provided room smelled something between petrol, old furniture, moisture or stinky painting. I got immediately a headache. I immediately said that I can not stay in this room for the night, because I would die in the night of intoxication and get asthma...The person at the reception went there with a toilet spray, so later it smelled a mix of toilet spray and previous moisture smell. He said he would change us the room, so he said us to go with all our 5 bags upstairs. The stairs were very difficult to climb. Finally it turned out that all the rooms upstairs were full and that this was the only option...If it was not the night and that we were tired after the trip I would have searched immediately for another place but unfortunately we had no force to search for another option. Back in the room I checked out how it looked like: destroyed old red floor, old furniture, yellow walls, dirty unwashed toilet with old stains of licking water, moisture on the bathroom curtain. I didn't see any bottles of water (in all small even very cheap hotels we stayed in Bali I was given free bottles of water at the arrival). Here they told me that there is tea in a termos outside.  Great, I decided to check out the tea termos, but it was incredible dirty so I decided there was no way I can drink the water out of it...I am sure the tea was not fresh either. There is also no breakfast provided, but well that was not the most important as the room.

I feel the place like home, it’s absolutely beautiful, they do a daily room service, and always leave you hot tea ready to enjoy outside the room where is the balcony with chairs :)

But of noise when someone checked in at midnight

A hair dryer, soap, toothpaste and toothbrush would have been great

The service was really friendly and polite. I liked the environment, lush inner yard with pool was really beautiful and cozy. The street where it's located was quiet and it was nice to walk there, but still it was nearby many local restaurants, supermarket and beach. I will definitely stay there again. :)
