Best place to stay in Italy

It was our best ever stay in Italy, the host was amazing, extremely helpful and friendly. The house is super cozy and comfortable and has a great location. It is also fully equipped and has a great terrace.

Exceptional

It was a great stay at Francesca's apartment. She is super nice and friendly, always tries to help and introduce newcomers to the local Ligurian specialities. It was a great pleasure meeting her. Location is in perfect distance to both train station (5-10 min walking) and the beach (10-15 min). By train you can easily reach Cinque Terre (30-40 min), La Spezia (1h), Genoa (1-2h) and Pisa (2h). I'd say the apartment is perfect for two but could accommodate up to 5 people. We enjoyed the terrace and parking place right next to the house. I'd recommend this place to those who prefer a unique warm local experience to the boring standard hotel rooms. And I'd like to thank Francesca again for her hospitality!

The apartment is indeed very close to the railway and you will hear all the trains passing by but we like trains and got used to it.

Exceptional

Francesca saw as arriving and immediately greeted us. There was an additional toilet downstairs which was perfect for 3 people. Francesca made us feel welcome. We really liked that she was explaining things in Italian and if we didn’t get it English is no problem. Zucchini from their own garden and homemade very delicious pesto 😍 Beds are basic and the first few nights and also during the day you have to get used to the train. The walk down to the beach seems longer by car, but it’s mostly shady and about 10 min walking. Kitchen is equipped with the necessary things for cooking and there was enough space to store everything. If there was a problem or we had a question Francesca was helpful and quick to respond. We stayed for 10 nights and if we come back to Moneglia we will definitely stay there again. Grazie mille!!

Noemi was an excellent host. We immediately cooled well. We were taken care of by her with fresh tomatoes from her garden and super delicious homemade pesto. Just everything, as you would imagine Italian! The apartment was very clean and beautiful. It extends over two floors. everything perfect to feel good. the sea is 5 minutes walk away and easily accessible. The apartment is 2 minutes from the train station, which of course brings occasional train traffic. I recommend this apartment in any case. especially the friendliness and helpfulness of the hostess. thank you noemie! we will gladly come again! best regards lou & merlin
