About this villa rental

The property is located on top of 2 hectares of wooded land in a very quiet environment with beautiful views to the village of Fayence. Down the hill is a small river where it is possible to bath and picnic during the summer.
Heated infinity pool (11x6 m oxygen cleaned) with teak furniture and two separate outside dining tables for up to 10 persons. Barbecue facility.
4 bedrooms with marbled bathrooms and toilets, large living and dining room with modern american kitchen (fully equipped with oven, dishwasher, washing machine, ice machine, large fridge, ...). Wifi connection, Telephone, Fax, Printer, Safe and flat screen TV in every room. The entire property is air-conditioned.
The decoration is an elegant mix of 18th century Provençal furniture and modern equipment and paintings. Please note that the master bedrooms has several erotic paintings.
The property is situated halfway between the mediaeval villages of Fayence and Seillans that boast many excellent restaurants.

Super chic and well appointed home. If you are looking for extreme relaxation with family and friends, this is the place to stay. We stayed as two families and we all had a wonderful time, swimming, cooking, eating and relaxing. some lovely towns and places to visit nearby.

The instructions to find the property need to be clearer. We were grateful to Johanna for all her help. The villa is high spec & very well equipped & tastefully furnished & decorated. Lovely views from all around the property & stunning planting In the extensive garden. Johanna was proactive in dealing with the couple of problems we incurred. The infinity heated pool is a real asset to the property. We had a great time.

As others have stated the highlight of Alain’s house are the views and the many wonderful outside seating areas. This Is not to minimize the inside of the house, but what made this house truly special for us was the outside. The other highlight was the restaurant at the beginning of the road up to the house - we had three delightful meals there. And for us the willingness of Alain and Johanna to accommodate the special requests we had made our stay at the house possible. We want to thank them for their flexibility. Finally, Johanna was a delight to deal with during the four weeks we spent at the house.

This property is as good as it comes in the rental market. The views are wonderful, the swimming pool is excellent, first class kitchen with induction stove. Air conditioning very effective & efficient. All bedrooms on same level as living area except one makes it perfect for older visitors. Grounds immaculately maintained, and the property manager especially helpful.

Amazing house with stunning view. Luxury materials, decorations and furnitures. Well equipped kitchen with high standard on everything. Quite and peaceful area. A place to relax. we hardly left the house other than buying groceries. We were a family of 5 and didn't use one of the bedrooms so lots of space. We couldn't wish for anything more in this beautiful house.

It is a wonderful well maintained house with every modern convenience except for a clothes dryer (need to update description on VRBO icons). It is, for North Americans, a daunting drive down a single track road but you will acclimate after a couple of days. Once you do, it is only 15 minutes to the super market in Fayence. Blazing fast broadband. Have rented in France for 20 years and this house is far and away the best we've ever rented. The pool is exceptionally well maintained, and the outside dining tables very comfortable and practical. And the best part is the exceptional quiet and the view. Great location for exploring the Var and Alpes Maritimes.

We had four wonderful weeks in this amazing house! However, it was a bit difficult to find the right way at the end. Both Alain and Johanna were very helpful and forthcoming.

This is a lovely villa in an excellent location. The pool is superb and excellently situated right in front of the villa. There is a variety of places to sit and eat outside and the gardens are very attractive and well-maintained. It' s nicely secluded and has lovely views, but is also only a few minutes from Fayence. A trip to the Val d'Iris vineyard is well worthwhile. Inside, the villa is just as good. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are comfortable. The air conditioning is a welcome benefit. This was just right for our family with three teenagers and we wouldn't hesitate to return. Communications with Alain and Johanna were easy and swift at all times, and Johanna was very helpful checking us in and during our stay.

Home now after 2 amazing weeks staying with family. This house is something that extra bit special! The location is perfect despite a bit of a windy hilly road to access it but this allows the peace and tranquility that Mas des Olivettes offers. The house is perfect for all ages and 8 of us stayed there with so much space for everyone. The decor is beautiful, the kitchen well equipped, the gardens stunning and a fabulous infinity pool overlooking Fayence. We struggled to leave the house each day as it was a haven away from the hustle and bustle. Johanna was lovely and very helpful with our enquiries, the villa was cleaned on the 2nd week and left immaculate. The most amazing unforgettable part of our holiday for us all was our daily visits from the Fox. She is absolutely beautiful, very confident and loves eggs and her particular favourite brie! We hope that the next people staying enjoy feeding and chilling out with the fox as much as we have done. This home provided us with wonderful memories and we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.Go on book it, you will have no regrets!

A group of 8 adults, we spent a very happy week in the villa. The house is as advertised and is nicely furnished and well equipped, with stunning views, attractive gardens. and a good size pool. It is a long way from any amenities, but that's the price for privacy, peace and a vista. We enjoyed long walks from the house through the woods and down to Fayence. We also walked to the excellent Le Castellaras restaurant for dinner. Communication with Alain was excellent, with super speedy responses to any queries. One caveat, the directions to find the house were hard to follow.

This is a marvellous house; the best we have stayed in of more than a dozen villa rentals in Provence. High up in the hills above Fayence, and at the end of a long winding road through the forest, the house affords total seclusion with magnificent, panoramic views of the surrounding ridges and valleys. Very thoughtfully appointed and beautifully decorated, the visitor is immediately impressed with the enormous living room that looks out through floor-to-ceiling windows over an infinity pool in one direction and dense forest and rock faces in another. The kitchen is small but well equipped in all respects other than having an induction hob, rather than gas, and a small oven. However, there is a large gas barbecue on the covered terrace. Over and above the excellence of the accommodation, we found the owner, M. Alain, to be most congenial and helpful with any enquiry, no matter how trivial; he also offered us generous terms should we have had to cancel at short notice because of Covid. The local manager, Johanna, was punctual, efficient, charming and absolutely delightful. We had the best three week holiday imaginable.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mas Les Olivette in Fayence. We are a family of 7 adults, my husband and I, with our adult kids and spouses. Seeing the property in person for the first time took our breath away. There was this beautiful infinity pool and patio area with this spectacular view of the town of Fayence. Then you walk inside to see the gorgeous interior that at the same time was so warm and inviting. We enjoyed many meals and afternoon snacks both outdoors and inside. The kitchen setup was perfect for this. With the four separate bedrooms and each with their own bathroom made it most comfortable and gave everyone their privacy should they want it. We enjoyed the property so much it was hard to leave to go on day trips, but we did for sure with visits into the town of Fayence as well as seeing Cannes, San Tropez and Monaco etc.. You need a car and after the initial drive getting to the property, you do get used to maneuvering around the countryside pretty quickly. Gorgeous scenery when driving. Can’t forget to mention the Michelin Star restaurant just a kilometer from us. It was the trip of a lifetime for our family. Such wonderful memories! We are a family of 4 with two older teenage kids and had a wonderful week at this property in the second week of July. Although the location is a little difficult to find along a narrow road (a sturdy SUV is recommended), the oasis at the end of the drive makes it all worthwhile. The property is high-end style and quality within a lovely, totally private, setting. It is well supplied with all the mod cons, a well stocked kitchen and a great Barbeque. We enjoyed the lovely view down the valley to Fayence whilst sitting eating our late breakfast or dinner at in the al fresco area next to the wonderful pool. We would recommend this property to all, and would have loved to spend another week (at least) relaxing here. Although we spent a lot of time relaxing at the property we also managed to fit in a day trip to Monaco, another to Cannes/Antibes and a third to the Amazing Verdon Gorges and the Lavender Fields around Valensole - just beautiful. Each day as we returned to the property we were so grateful to be able to get away from the hustle and bustle, and just chill! Thank you Alain, if we can, we will be back

We have had an amazing time at the villa. Everything worked as it should and if there was a problem Alain sent an army of people to sort it out. The views are to die for. The area fabulous and easy for days out at the coast or back on to the motorway for further journeys. The walk into Fayence though a little overgrown is lovely, taking about 50minutes to an hour, but Google Maps may have to help a bit. The house is spacious, very well equipped and just lovely with many different areas to dine or sit you never feel on top of anyone. The only concern we had was finding it as an interpretation error called a horse paddock a horse paddle and the road looked so uninviting we doubted it was the right one. However once you know it's there (third turning on the left and about 1/2 mile down at the end of the road), It's not a problem. You do need transport at this property and a 4x4 would be an advantage! Though our little Prius took it all in it's stride. Cannot fault it and would love to come back. Highly HIGHLY recommended!

Perfect in every way

A fantastic spot. The photos and description are accurate with that great 'wow' factor that you hope for. The customer service was efficient and always delivered. It was spotless upon arrival with a thorough weekly clean. The location is outstanding and the local villages offer excellent restaurants, cafes and shops. If you are looking for an action packed holiday there is plenty to offer with local lakes, gliding and golf.

The villa is of the top standard, beauitfully decorated and everything one needs for a luxury filled holiday. We live in London and stayed there for a week in May, so it was lovely to stay there while the skies were sunny and the weather was warm enough to swim in the heated pool. Every detail has been thought out from the quality bed linens, towels, tableware, outdoor furniture all totally put together for comfort and serenity. I rate this villa extremely highly and one of the best properties we have stayed at. We have stayed at a few in Italy and around France (Dodorgne region), but this one was the best. The veiws are stunning, the infinity pool a delight to hang around in the evenings for aperatifs!!! The sightseeing was great fun, loved the nearby villages and town and Nice one hour away. We plan on renting it again for a week in 2017!!!

Die Villa und die umfangreiche Ausstattung waren genau wie im Internet beschrieben, und vor allem die Aussicht war einfach atemberaubend. Une maison de rêve, où tout est pensé pour la détente et la convivialité. Très bien conçue et parfaitement équipée, depuis l’orientation des terrasses, la qualité de l’eau de la piscine et jusqu’a l’équipement de la cuisine et les services associés au séjour (accueil, ménage, dépannage si besoin, vin offert etc.), tout est parfait ! Seul bémol, le wifi n’est pas assez puissant pour 2 familles avec ados… Un grand merci à Alain et Johanna pour ces superbes vacances.

Voll ausgestattete, modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Ferienvilla mit biologisch gereinigtem Pool für bis zu 8 Personen. Wir (4 Paare zw. 53 und 60 Jahren alt) haben uns in den 2 Wochen sehr wohlgefühlt und würden die Villa, trotz des relativ hohen Preises, wieder mieten. Sehr ruhige Lage ca. 2 km nördlich von Fayence. Die Vermittlung durch Alain Siebenaler war sehr angenehm und professionell - Danke

Das Haus ist genauso schön wie auf den Fotos, perfekt instandgehalten und ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts! Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit! Man hat einen fantastischen Blick, es gibt draußen viele tolle Sitzgelegenheiten. Ein Highlight war für uns der Lavendel neben dem Pool, der viele Schmetterlinge anzieht, was unglaublich schön aussieht. Alain ist super hilfsbereit und sehr nett, spricht auch perfekt deutsch. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in diesem schönen Anwesen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist hervorragend und bietet auch für 8 Personen alles, was man sich wünscht. Für die Anfahrt zum Haus ist ein geländegäniges Fahrzeug empfehlenswert. Es gibt sehr schöne und bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten ums und im Haus sowie am Pool. Der Pool selbst war mit 18 Grad ein bisschen kühl, aber die Wasserqualität ohne Chlor toll. Die Stromkosten sollten besser in der Miete enthalten sein, da sie im wesentlichen durch den Pool verursacht werden und deshalb nur minimal beeinflusst werden können. Alle Räume und die Ausstattung im Haus waren perfekt sauber. Vielen Dank für einen super Urlaub.

Séjour super reposant dans cette jolie villa confortable et bien entretenue, sise sur une des collines boisées entourant Fayence! Contact sympathique avec le propriétaire très attentionné. Accueil chaleureux par Pascal, le gérant de la propriété très prévenant. La région offre de multiples loisirs, promenades, activités aquatiques au lac de St Cassien, visites des villages pittoresques du pays de Fayence, marchés, bal champêtre (les jeudis à Fayence), visites des stations balnéaires de la Côte d'Azur. Je recommande vivement cette maison, qui en plus est idéale pour les personnes en chaise roulante.
