Relaxing and spectacular views

Breakfast was great, it covered everything , those who wanted a hot breakfast and those who wanted continental breakfast Located right on the ocean , beach club no extra charge for sunbeds and the pool is lovely. It is at a quiet end of the island so I would suggest having a Car whilst staying here

Clifftop hotel with views and warmth

The hotel is set on a large property perched on a cliff along the island’s southwest coast, with beautiful views overlooking the sea. The beach along the road is public, but right near the path leading up to the hotel there are sunbeds and umbrellas available for free use. The rooms are spread out across several low buildings (up to two floors), usually with four rooms per building. There’s also a large swimming pool and a dining room/restaurant next to the reception area. We were given a room with a balcony and a sea view. The room itself was spacious. The bed, unfortunately, was low and a bit tight, though still fairly comfortable. The bathroom was quite roomy, and the shower was very good. The room also had air conditioning, a safe, and a mini fridge. Service throughout our stay was excellent: always with a smile and a genuine willingness to help and make guests happy. There’s plenty of parking available, and even an EV charging station, which is a nice touch.

We liked less the bed. It was a bit tight and low

The room was far from perfect, the quality is mediocre, the cleaning services the same. They change the towels and make the bed, but they don’t clean the bathroom during the stay, at least during my four-nights stay it was not cleaned. The breakfast is also mediocre, but what I found absolutely fabulous and what makes me give this accommodation the highest rating is the pool and the view from the pool towards the sea, which is absolutely fabulous, and also the lady from the reception, Marina, I think, who I think is the best choice any hotel in Samothraki could make. Thank you so much, and if we ever come back to this place, it will be thanks to you . Thank you!

An excellent experience with an unforgettable view!

The hotel's location is exceptional, with a view that simply takes your breath away. The staff is very attentive, flexible and accommodating. The presence of the swimming pool is a great asset, especially for families with children. The breakfast offered is relatively varied and covers the needs of several types of diets. It is definitely a place where I would return with great joy.

Even though they were very clean when we arrived and cleaned daily, the bathrooms could probably use a renovation.

We surely liked it there.

Very nice place. The afternoon and sunset view is amazing. The pool is not big, but good enought for a nice refreshing swim. Staff very helpfull. Bar and terrace near the pool available until late, so one could stay and chill. The cosy beach is only 3 minutes away by foot, with lots of oleanders along the road to marvel you as you descend the hill. Overall, a very good place to stay, we will surely come back.

The room was a little smaller then expected, but if you don't have a big luggage it is ok. It may need a refresh of some bathroom fixtures, but nothing serious. Overall a good impression prevails.

A good spot by the sea and a well run property. Would be happy to stay again.

The location is excellent. Nice, quiet spot. A good sized pool with a good view over the Aegean Sea. Although I had no view from my room/or balcony (I booked a room with balcony and Mountain View) I instead I used the various open spaces available on the property with ample views of the sea and mountain. So all in all I really enjoyed staying here. The food at the restaurant on the property was also of good quality and there are 2 good tavernas also very close by.

I booked a room with balcony but in fact did not have one. In the end this was not a big problem as it was possible to use the various open areas that the property has. Also, the flexibility of the owners with the check out time more than made up for this. So all in all Thanks Team Samothraki Beach…I had a nice break there.

A pleasant surprise!

This hotel was a definit suprise in Samothraki. The pool with the view and the grass all around the hotel on its own make the atmposphere to have the most peacful holidays in Samothraki. To top it off, the beds are very comfortable and the staff is friendly and ready to assist at all times. Next time in Samothraki, there won't be a doubt about where we will be staying!

The staff is very helpful and the facilities are nice, we enjoyed the pool and the beach steps away from the hotel. They offer some light food, very good when you don't feel like leaving the complex.

Wish we could have stayed longer :)

We pretty much enjoyed our stay from A to Z. The room was spacious and kept away the heat to a reasonable extent, while the view was breathtaking. Breakfast was simple yet always tasty and made with in situ ingredients, and the pool was always thoroughly kept clean. The car parking is almost exclusively covered with a canopy, which really helps keep your car from turning into an oven from the mid-day heat. Last but not least, the beach at the foot of the hill offers crystal clear waters which would turn anyone into snorkleing afficionados.

2 small issues: one, even if you are a guest in the hotel, when you go to the beach at the foot of the hill you are still required to order something to drink or to eat in value of EUR 4/person. This is by no means an important amount, but it's the principle. The other issue was that the music played at the beach speakers (2020s MTV style) was pretty much horrible and a bit too loud. The establishment's guests (including us) consisted almost exclusively of people in their late 30s/40s and beyond. As far as I could tell, we would have appreciated the music to be more "in touch" with the Samothraki state of mind: chill-out/trip-hop and so on. I would advise the capable young staff to turn to Saoki Beach Bar for inspiration and tips on possible playlists :)

We would recommend this place to all people who want to enjoy each segment of their holiday.

All was wonderful. Staff was friendly and met all our wishes. The location, swimming pool, beds and balcony were what we wanted to have. The breakfast was excellent, the view from the apartment was marvelous and the beach was on 2 min walk from our room. If we come to Samothraki again, we will definitely stay at this place.

Wifi was not always good. It would be good if they can imporveit.

Samothraki's Sunny Southern Gem

- Location with sea view: on the hill beautifully located suites & rooms; not heated pool (sizes 9/7m ; depths 1.2-2.2m) with space for kids and with jacuzzi; hotel is at a walking distance from the pebble beach and is directly linked to the main asphalt road which is connecting the southern part with the main city of the island; closely there's a good tavern in case you decide to take a walk and not the car; the hotel is at 17 km from Ammos (sandy) beach also on the southern part of the island and to which you can drive on asphalt - Ammos beach has sun beds and umbrellas and two taverns open during summer season; - Spotless, nicely decorated (included aircon) and sizable suites with patio including furniture and one sunbed; mosquito nets available (patio entrance and bathroom window); - Very comfortable large double bed & different types of pillows; suites have also two small beds in case you have kids and there is also a non-expandable sofa; - Shaded parking places available behind the apartments area, on the hill, at not extra charge (no need to reserve); - Wi-fi signal acceptable throughout the property (better in the breakfast area) considering we were on an island (10-15 mbs/download, 5-7 mbs/upload); we could watch our online favorites movies during evenings (HDMIs available on the flat screen TVs existent in the room); 220V/50Hz EU available sockets in the suites area - Safe, fridge & small freezer and kettle available in rooms in the suites area; - Good quality breakfast/dinner at request and at a very good price (dinner usually 1 course announced in the morning on a board in the breakfast area, if you're interest just ask reception); - Great feedback & communication: Jelena and all staff immediately offered us another suite in order to mitigate the lack of soundproofing of our initial suite; we communicated via WhatsApp very well in English language and we were provided with all the answers we needed about our...

- Soundproofing for our initial suite was poor (having closed the balcony doors ): on the second day of our stay a family with a small baby moved in the suite next to ours and unfortunately we were woken up twice during the night because of the crying child which we could hear; - Room for improvement: GSM signal amplification (indoors suite area the GSM signal is inexistent or very very poor ); Wi-Fi signal amplification (e.g. in suite #37 Wi-Fi signal is poor)

A nice stay with a great view. We chose also the breakfast option, which was a great decision, since you are far away from anything else from the island and you have to drive to the nearest restaurant. But breakfast was really delicious. We also enjoyed the pool and the nice view of the sunset. All staff was really friendly and helpful.

In the description is specified a jacuzzi, but we found out that is closed during July and August, which did not make a lot of sense for us. (this should be mentioned) The dinner options are not varied. There was a small problem with the bathroom. The water from the toilet would never stop running. And there is no ventilation, so after a shower, you can have also a sauna for few hours.

Great location, beautiful view, nice external setup of the garden and the pool.

The room was damp, with quite an unpleasand smell because of this. The only solution we had was to keep balcony the door open at all times, even at night.

Great

Everything, the staff, the serving, the room, the pool, the breakfast, the fact that you have the beach so close and the staff brings you drinks down to the beach. It was our 3th time staying here and everything was just as awesome as I remembered. And bonus, the staff remembered us so it was like coming back home 🙂 It's our go-to place on the island and we're looking forward to the next stay - so bad that we actually booked our next stay during our current stay.

Everything was great. Maybe the WiFi could work a little bit better, but for us that wasn't an issue, you don't come to this island to spend time online. And when we had something that needed WiFi, we came to the bar where the signal is stronger, and drank a mojito while working

Excellent property, view, cleanliness, staff very nice, breakfast delicious.

I recommend to the staff to be prepared with advice for tourists on the main attractions of the island. We were about to miss sone of them if we were not asking the other island tourists. Do mot miss Fonias waterfalls! Also, breakfast should be included in the pricing.
