Casa Nova

We stayed here for four nights, but time flew by far too quickly. It was an exceptional stay from start to finish. The house is spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, and a kitchen, living room, and another bathroom downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare your own meals. Outside, there's a generous seating area and a large courtyard with grass—perfect for relaxing outdoors. The property was spotless, well-maintained, and showed clear attention to detail throughout. We especially appreciated the design: modern construction beautifully accented with traditional Romanian motifs, which fits perfectly with the character of the region. There's even a river at the end of the courtyard, where you can cool off on a hot summer day—a lovely bonus. Last but certainly not least, the hosts were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, embodying the true spirit of Maramureș hospitality. If you take the time to chat with them, you'll discover all sorts of fascinating stories and local insights. All in all, a truly pleasant experience. Thank you for everything!

It's worth mentioning that the Mocănița—the famous steam train—passes nearby, so in the morning you might hear its unmistakable whistle and chug. Other than that, the area is exceptionally quiet, especially at night. One practical note: there's a Kaufland in town, which is very convenient for stocking up during your stay. However, it's a bit of a distance from the property, so you'll need a car to get there. If you're up for a walk, that's certainly doable too—and a good way to stretch your legs! Overall, there were no real negatives to speak of.

Locația este accesibilă, usor de gasit. Am gasit totul pregatit cand am ajuns, totul curat și igienizat. Gazdele foarte primitoare ne-au ajutat si cu o problema la masina.

Este un “colț de rai “, situat în mijlocul munților, cu o priveliște frumoasă cât cuprind ochii. Gazdele sunt oameni inteligenți, mereu deschiși, disponibili în a te ajuta în orice situație . Proprietatea este dotată cu tot necesarul .

Accueil exceptionnel et chaleureux par George et sa famille. Nous avons passé un très agréable moment en sa compagnie autour du traditionnel verre d'accueil, en apprenant des choses très intéressantes sur la vie dans cette région, aujourd'hui et avant. Le cadre est idyllique, la maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût et avec tout le con,le jardin magnifique et reposant. A recommander absolument.
