Amazing location with great views of the surrounding mountains. When we stayed here in February 2026 there was a lot of fresh snow. Perfect for sledging with kids (sledges were provided). Very quiet. Nice and warm with stove. Spacious apartment for 6 people. Host kind and provided transport through the deep snow whenever we needed it. Town (Borsa) with shops etc is 15-20 min drive away.

The host is an amazing person, she helped us get up the mountain with her off-road vehicle, gave us important info, prepared the jacuzzi for us, which is a must-try during the night The location is breathtaking, very clean and comfy Good location to start a hike in the area
You cannot really make it up the mountain with a normal car, as the road is severely degraded, rocky surface — 4WD vehicles only. We failed trying with a city SUV, but the host picked us up in the end.

Este o locație de vis, priveliște asupra orașului Borșa și a munților dimprejur. Gazdă foarte promptă, isi oferă suportul constant și eficace. Drumul spre vârful Pietrosul Rodnei este scurtat cu cel puțin o oră. Toate facilitățile pentru grătar și petrecut o seară de neuitat în tot confortul în mijlocul naturii, la un foc de lemne.
Încă se lucrează la a treia cabană, un pic de șantier.
