SkyView Villa

Beautiful location, lovely villa with wide windows to capture the view. Loved sitting out on the porch with the views of the wildlife, water, and scenery, as well as walking on the paths around the stunning golf course (8th tee is right in front of the villa!). Loved the up close experiences with the roos! Definitely recommend sunrise and/or sunset walks.

Not exactly as advertised. The photos are heavily photoshopped to remove the surrounding villas, giving an illusion of seclusion that definitely isn't there. Also the photos of front and back, as well as "actual views" of scenery are definitely enhanced/edited, although it is still a beautiful spot. Also the stove didn't work and windows were very dirty, impacting the view. Have since spoken to the host who has assured us both matters are being rectified ASAP.

The standout for this property is the view and the surroundings. The trees, birds and wildlife made it very peaceful. There was lots of glass to allow you to enjoy the view from inside, which was good for my stay as it was too cold to be sitting outside for long. The bed was also very comfortable.

The facilities are a little dated, and the design of the villa meant cleaning up near the roof would be challenging and that showed.

The entries in the guestbook are testament to what a breathtaking spot this is to spend a holiday. The description online is accurate - the villa is extremely comfortable and well equipped, the heating works well (very important when you arrive in winter the way we did), the setting is gorgeous. We loved the high ceilings and the light and spacious feel of the villa, the beautiful views from every window, and the sight of the kangaroos grazing on the sloping lawn in the late afternoon. Our host, Eva, was also extremely helpful on the phone and by email.

I was disappointed that in the kitchen there was no bin in which to keep materials that needed to be recycled. I ended up taking home some paper and tin cans so that I could put them out to be recycled at home.

Would have been easier to find if we knew it was on the Golf course site. Needs windows cleaning to fully admire the view.
